The new episode of Superman & Lois Season 4 is fast approaching, and before you enjoy it, make sure to know what happened in the previous episode. As mentioned above, episode 3 featured the DOD asking Starlight and Steel to fill in as substitutes for Superman, as he's gone (at least for now). The two agree to stay in Smallville and are the new targets for Lex Luthor and Doomsday.
As the episode progressed, Jonathan Kent finally discovered his Kryptonian powers. It was previously believed that the superhero's son wouldn't gain powers in the series, but episode 3 brings a twist revealing Jonathan's powers including x-ray vision, super-healing, and flight.
Meanwhile, Lex Luthor continues to target the Kent family by manipulating Jordan against his mother and son. This adds up to the family conflicts, as Jordan now seems to be jealous of his own brother, just what Luthor wants when his rival isn't there.
One of the saddest parts in Superman & Lois episode 3 is when General Sam Lane meets a tragic end. Being a protective father, he refused to betray his daughter and provoked Lex Luthor. As a result, a soldier working under Luthor shoots Lane, and he's left wounded.
Despite his injury, Sam Lane stood against Doomsday and didn't follow what Lex Luthor had ordered. However, before General Sam Lane died, he injected himself with Superman's blood. This hints at Superman coming back to life using Lane's heart after his sacrifice.
What can you expect from Superman & Lois Season 4 Episode 4?
Following Sam Lane's sacrifice, there's a possibility to bring Superman back to life. Fans didn't get to see much of Tyler Hoechlin as the fan-favorite DC superhero, but the upcoming episode hints at his return.
However, according to the DC comics, the Man of Steel didn't come back with all of his mighty powers. So does that mean Hoechlin's Superman will be less powerful? Well, for that fans have to wait until tomorrow to see what's next in the TV series.
