Superman & Lois Season 4 Episode 3 is titled Always My Hero. It is all ready to air on Monday, October 14, 2024. Fans can catch the episode on The CW at 8 PM ET.
The season follows a weekly release schedule, with new episodes dropping every Monday. This season consists of 10 episodes, which is a shorter run than previous seasons.
Superman & Lois Season 4 Episode 1 & 2 recap
Laden with action and emotion, the first two episodes of Superman & Lois Season 4 picked up from Season 3’s cliffhanger. Fans saw a showdown between Superman and Doomsday which resulted in Superman’s death.
Doomsday followed Lex Luthor's orders and ripped Superman’s heart out. The Kent family was devastated and reeling from the tragedy. They had to now continue living their lives without Clark.
Superman’s body was then taken to the Fortress of Solitude. This scene introduced fans to the heartbreaking scenes of Lois trying to keep her family strong. But Lex Luthor’s schemes didn’t end there. He’s set on making life miserable for the Kents. He targets them one by one.
The season premiere also provided fans with a glimpse of the past using flashbacks, which brought back the touching memories of Clark’s life. It included Lois giving birth to the twins and Clark finally telling her about his identity.
Superman & Lois Season 4 Episode 3: What to expect
As fans prepare themselves for Superman & Lois Season 4 Episode 3, they are eager to know what could happen next. One thing is clear, there are plenty of questions to be answered and things will only get more intense going forward.
In the comics Death of Superman, Superman dies but returns in the Reign of Superman. Since the season is an adaptation of the former, will Superman come to life later? That’s a question only time can answer.
Fans can expect Jordan Kent to step up to fill his father’s shoes. It seems like he’s ready to take on the mantle. The previous episodes gave us a few hints at this transformation, especially when General Lane gave Jordan his superhero suit.
This could mean Jordan might take on the new role, which, however, doesn’t come without any risk. He has to stand up to Lex Luthor. Hence, it is for sure that living up to his father’s legacy will be an emotional rollercoaster for Jordan.
Meanwhile, Lex Luthor is still obsessed with revenge. And he is still pulling the strings. In the premiere, he manipulated Doomsday to attack Superman and even took his heart as a trophy. With Superman gone, Lex might try to destroy the Kent family.
So, Superman & Lois Season 4 Episode 3 might provide us with a few answers, or give a few hints, at the least, when it comes to the fate of the Kents and even Superman’s heroic return if he does come back at all. Fans can expect many more emotional scenes, as well as twists in the upcoming episodes of the show.
