Following the success of the beloved legal drama Suits, the spin-off series Suits LA has finally arrived and fans have several questions about the story. Set in Los Angeles, the series centers around a former federal prosecutor Ted Black who left New York and now specializes in entertainment and criminal law.

At the heart of Suits LA is Black Lane, a law firm founded by Ted Black and his partner Stuart Lane. While Stuart focuses on criminal defense, Black handles entertainment law and deals with high-profile clients in Hollywood.

As seen in Suits LA Season 1 Episode 1 "Seven Days a Week and Twice on Sunday", Ted Black meets Victoria Justice's character Dylan Pryor. Since the actress's appearance as his newest client, fans might have wondered why didn't the Zoey 101 star appear as herself when most of the guest stars were playing their own version.

The reason? Victoria Justice didn't appear as herself in the Suits LA premiers because her role serves a larger purpose. While she's a rising star, she sought legal help from Ted Black's firm and as he promised, he can get her impressive deals in the future.

Black asked Pryor to sign a deal with him the day she first met him at Black Lane, suggesting she's an important client as he already has a deal ready. Additionally, Victoria Justice is a renowned actress in real life, and playing a rising star in Suit L.A. wouldn't do justice to the drama.

Within a few minutes of Suits LA Season 1, fans are introduced to fan-adored Victoria Justice's Dylan Pryor. As Ted Black mentioned, she is Warner Brothers' newest action star, for whom the lawyer got a deal she didn't expect.

While Dylan wasn't that impressed with Black, he promised to bring her impressive deals in the future saying "I will kill for you for the rest of your life", hinting the actress might become one of the most important clients of Black Lane. However, Lex Scott Davis confirmed in an interview that Justice did a cameo:

"Victoria Justice, who doesn't play herself, does make a cameo. We kind of dance between reality and fiction quite a bit and it's so much fun."

The actress spoke about playing Erica in Suits LA and mentioned Victoria Justice's cameo. But who knows if the actress might appear in future episodes as she wasn't seen signing the deal with the lawyer, and given Black's reputation, Dylan Pryor will likely accept it.

At the same time, the spin-off has been praised for blending real-world elements with fictional storytelling, making it fun and unpredictable. As for Justice, she emerged as a stand-out character in Suits LA even if it was just a cameo.

Now that Stuart has betrayed Ted cutting him out of the merger and taking away most of his clients, it would be intriguing to watch the titular character handling a major betrayal. Ted must realize that no one around him can be fully trusted and will have to build a strong image in front of his clients, the way he brought a deal for Dylan Pryor.
