The synopsis of the upcoming episode reads as follows:

In the past, Ted's mob trial case takes a bad turn, forcing him to turn to old friend Harvey Specter; Erica and Leah's clash over personal time gets the attention of the firm's new head of HR; Stuart calls in a favor from Rick to discredit a witness

Evident from the synopsis, Episode 8 will mark Macht's second appearance as Harevy Spectre, as he helps Ted Black out from the case that threatened his career and his eventual move to LA.

In the trailer above, Ted says:

''Sometimes good guys got to do bad things in order to make the bad guys pay.''

It looks like Harevy Spectre is finally rubbing off on Ted, as he plans to take out the bad guys, Harevy's style. Elsewhere, in the present timeline, tensions will surface between Erica and Leah in the firm.

What happened in Suits LA Episode 7?

Suits LA finally saw a keen reveal about Ted's past, which shed light on his strained relationship with his father. It was revealed that while Ted was about to start his prosecuting case against mob boss Pellegrini, his father received a legal summons to be investigated by the DA's office.

Ted understood that Pellegrini extorted his father to convince Ted to take a job in LA, against some proof against him. Ted's father asks his son's help to get him out of his ordeal, but he refuses because it would badly affect Pellegrini's case. He, in turn, asks his father to testify against Pellegrini in return for witness protection.

His father refused Ted's offer, fearing for his life as Pellegrini would come after him because of his betrayal. As a result, Ted's time with the DA was cut short, and he moved to LA.

Elsewhere, in the present, Ted and Rick mourn Jon Amos's death by re-watching an episode of Good Times and securing a star for the late veteran at the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with the mentee securing him a waiting status on the list.

Ted and Samantha disagree on the case of their new client, David Bowie, a Hollywood fixer. While Stuart was ready to defend him in court, he learned that David just wanted Samantha to praise him at the press conference, which was unacceptable to her.

They have a rift over this, with Stuart comparing Samantha's ethics to Ted's, after which she goes to Ted for advice. She finally agrees to meet with David, but Stuart refuses, saying he just wants to see if Samantha will back him up on a case, which she does.
