Suits LA Episode 4 recap: Lester’s case gets complicated
Lester, the producer having a hard time since Suits LA episode 1, has another trouble as the studio making his dream project wants to part ways with him and remove his name altogether from the film.
The studio believes associating with a man accused of his co-producer’s murder will hamper their image and choose Samantha to represent them in the case. Ted and Erica try to convince Lester to give up the film as the case would harm his murder trial. However, the producer explains how important the project is for him.
Ted and Erica then come up with a plan to move Lester's murder trial forward, hoping that he would be cleared of all charges soon and could get back to work. When the prosecutor, Elizabeth Smith, tries to bluff and push the trial to a later date, Amanda shows up in court, proving that Elizabeth only wants to move the trial for her own benefit.
Meanwhile, Ted and Erica meet the studio head and later threaten him that if he jeopardizes Lester’s film, they will make sure no Hollywood A-lister ever works with the studio again. Fearing for his job, the studio head agrees to keep Lester’s name on the film.
Suits LA Episode 4 recap: Rick and Stuart handle Enrico Colantoni’s case
In Suits LA episode 4, actor Enrico Colantoni is accused by his neighbor of carving an inappropriate structure in the petunias at his home. While Enrico initially denies any wrongdoing, Stuart comes up with surveillance footage that showcases the incident.
Enrico then reveals his neighbor is a social media star who has been mocking him. The neighbor made a prank call to him, impersonating an officer, and asked the actor to report at a police station for a parking ticket.
Stuart and Rick then meet with his neighbor and ask him to drop all charges against Enrico. Otherwise, he would himself face repercussions of breaking the law and impersonating a police officer.
In the end, Enrico walks free but tells Rick he feels disheartened as his children love his neighbor’s videos more than his comedy shows. Rick then arranges for Enrico to appear in one of his neighbor’s streams so that his children can see a new side of him.
