Suits: LA cast and character guide - Who plays whom in the upcoming 2025 legal drama spin-off?

Suits: LA is the legal American series Suits', spin-off, which will be based in LA and debut on NBC on February 23, 2025.

After the success of its parent show, the spin-off series was announced, which is the second in line to Pearson, modeled after Gina Torres's Jessica Pearson.

According to Deadline, Gabriel Macht will reprise his role of Harvey Specter in three episodes, he will come to LA to help his long-time friend, Ted Black.

1) Stephen Amell as Ted Black

Amell's breakthrough role was as Oliver Queen in CW's famous superhero show Arrow. His other notable projects include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows and Code 8.

Stepping in for Harvey, Amell will play Ted Black, the protagonist in Suits: LA. After working in New York, Ted moved to LA to set up his own practice, Black Lane Law, which caters to some of the most powerful clients in the city.

His New York past would also give him a chance got the show to bring back cast members from the original show, including Macht.

2) Josh McDermitt as Stuart Lane

McDermitt's most popular role is as Eugene Porter in AMC's series The Walking Dead. He also played the main role of Brandon in the sitcom Retired at 35. His other credits include The Pitch and Twins Peak.

Stuart is Ted's partner at the Black Lane Law. When Ted fled New York 15 years ago, he partnered up with Stuart to establish a practice in criminal and entertainment law. His character is described as 'energetic, focused and powerful.'

3) Lex Scott Davis as Erica Rollins

Scott is an American actress who started her acting career in 2012. Her acting roles include titles like The First Purge, The L Word: Generation Q, and Training Day. She also played the titular role in the Lifetime television film Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart.

NBC describes Ericas as a

“savvy and strong-willed rising star at the firm who is shrewd enough to test the loyalty of her associates only to admire some of them for not having any.”

She is an ambitious character who will also play a main role in Suits: LA.

4) Bryan Greenberg as Rick Dodsen

Bryan is best known for his role as Ben Epstein in HBO's How to Make It in America. His other credits include The Mindy Project, Friends with Benefits, One Tree Hill, and The Perfect Score.

Rick is an up-and-coming lawyer who is taken under the wing by Ted and will play his protege on Suits: LA. An ambitious rookie, he will be in constant competition with Erica, as both of them will try to climb the ladder at Black Lane Law.
