Netflix's Stranger Things, one of the most watched and highly acclaimed shows, will be back in 2025 with its final season.
After nearly a decade, the Duffer Brother creation will finally conclude, but with a final fateful chapter with the evil Vecna against the Hawkins gang.
Season 5 will witness Vecna's final blow, and fans are already praying their favorite characters make it out alive in the final season. While every surviving main and secondary cast member will reprise their roles in the final season, fans will also get to see some new faces who will join the Stranger Things Season 5 cast.
More on Stranger Things Season 5 cast and character guide in our story.
Meet the new cast members for Stranger Things Season 5
1) Nell Fisher
It was reported that Fisher will replace twin sisters Anniston and Tinsley Price as a grown-up Holly Wheeler in Stranger Things Season 5. She will play the youngest Wheeler kid, and looking at the promotional photos, Fisher will most likely be Vecna's next target in the final season.
Her past appearances include Evil Dead Rise, Northspur, and Bookworm.
2) Jake Connelly
Connelly is a newcomer who will probably play one of Erica's classmates, as speculated from promotional photos and videos. He might join the children's gang in their effort to take down Vecna. He has also appeared in Between the Silence.
3) Alex Breaux
Actor Alex has also joined the Stranger Things Season 5 cast as an undisclosed character. He is also seen standing by the gang's side in many promotional videos, so we think he is in a positive role.
Breaux is an American actor famous for his roles in Blue Bloods, When They See Us, FBI, The Blacklist and Joe Pickett.
4) Linda Hamilton
Hamilton was announced as a Stranger Things Season 5 cast member at the 2023’s Tudum: A Global Fan Event. While her character is also not disclosed at the moment, she seems really excited to join the cast, as she discussed in an interview with US Weekly,
“I’ve watched every season with relish. I just love it. So it’s kind of, like, imposter syndrome where I don’t [feel that I] fit in there. That’s a whole world set in the ’80s.”
Returning Stranger Things Season 5 cast and character guide
Apart from the four actors who will debut in the show's final season, almost all of the show's main cast who survived previous seasons will reprise their roles in Season 5.
Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven/Jane Hopper on the show, seemed ready to give closure to her character, as she discussed in an interview with Women's Wear Daily,
“I think I’m ready. It’s been such a huge factor in part of my life, but it’s like graduating high school, it’s like senior year… You’re ready to go and blossom and flourish, and you’re grateful for the time you've had, but it’s time to create your own message and live your own life.”

Joseph Quinn's Eddie Munson died in Season 4, which might mean that he will not be a part of the final season, but considering how Dacre Montgomery's Billy Hargrove (who died in Season 3) was brought back in Season 4, it is expected that the actors can still appear in the final season.
In addition, Matthew Modine's Dr. Martin Brenner, who died in Season 4 (again), recently shared a BTS video where he is getting ready for Season 5, which confirms that he will also appear in the final season.
