90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Statler Riley featured in season 6 along with her then-partner Dempsey Wilkinson. The couple is no longer together and both of them were absent from the finale, Tell All episode which aired on November 18, 2024, on TLC. However, the 34-year-old Texas resident might not be part of the franchise anymore, especially after the experiences she had in season 6.
The reality TV star has been part of the franchise from 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 6 which aired in 2023. Dempsey and Statler met online and dated for seven months before Statler visited Dempsey in the UK. Statler's appearance came with a shock for Dempsey as she later revealed that she was planning to shift to the UK permanently.
In 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 6, the couple explored van life while trying to glue together their relationship which suffered through trust issues, financial problems, and cheating accusations. Statler did not have her "happily ever after " on the show as the couple broke up, followed by not getting the invitation for the reunion episode.
Statler Riley also got into a blip with Armando and Kenny, 90 Day Fiancé alums online over the topic that the channel allegedly stole her idea of "a cross-over show". Armando and Kenny denied any such claims leading to an online war between the stars. After all these mishaps, it seems quite impossible for Statlwe Riley to come up for another experience in the franchise.
She started her podcast named The Tell All Pod where she claimed to reveal "the reality of reality TV".
"Pushing a narrative"- 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Statler Riley opens about her "reality TV persona"
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 6 star Statler Riley has ventured into a new career as a podcaster. She has launched her podcast named The Tell All Pod which focuses on talking about reality TV-related topics, including her own experience. During one of her initial podcasts, recorded on November 26, 2024, Riley opened up about how she was portrayed in a negative light.
She shared that she was joined by a writer, who wanted her to dig deep into the happenings of her life and tell her everything from different walks of life.
Riley felt comfortable with her as she was behaving "like a friend", and said:
"It kind of became apparent pretty quickly, the things that they were having me talk about and do, that they were pushing a narrative. Basically, during the interview process, I'd met with a writer. She, like, worked on developing my character, and she was very obvious about it. "
She further added:
"She wanted to know all of the things that had happened in my life, and she talked to me like a friend. So I was telling her everything, stuff I'd done in college, stuff I'd done in middle school, like but there were certain things that she latched onto that I was realizing were being brought up in filming."
However, the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star felt that she agreed to be portrayed like that because the writer convinced her that her partner would look good on the screen. Therefore, she did not think much and played along.
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 6 is available on TLC.
