Star Wars: Skeleton Crew continues to expand on the lore of Star Wars, and they introduced the Jewels of the Old Republic in Episode 3.

Rooted in the pirate world of the Star Wars galaxy, the four children ended up at Port Borgo. But, soon, they learn there might be hidden treasure in their homeworld At Attin.

Episode 3 revealed that At Attin was once a part of this Jewel of the Old Republic, a group of "planets of wonder kept hidden for their protection."

This has increased the mystery around their homeworld, and their journey towards it with Jude Law's Jod Na Nawood/Crimson Jack has become even more important now.

More about Jewel of the Old Republic in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew in our story.

At Attin is the only surviving Jewel of the Old Republic in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew

The mystery surrounding the jewels of the Old Republic is revealed by an owl-like creature, Kh'ymm, in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Episode 3.

There were once many planet wonders, but they were destroyed over time, with only At Attin surviving as the last jewel. Because of this special place, At Attin became an important part of children's books and lore as a treasured haven, attracting pirates and fools alike.

While nobody knows what exactly happened with the other planets or how At Attin survived, the planet is shrouded in great mystery in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. This suburban-esque planet with an idyllic neighborhood working towards a greater purpose indeed has secrets of its own, which will be revealed in time.

The Barrier, an atmospheric anomaly that keeps At Attin safe from outside forces, is also an important factor in the mysteries surrounding this planet.

Exploring theories about the disappearance of the Jewels of the Old Republic in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew

While we know that At Attin is the only surviving jewel planet on Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, the mystery surrounding what happened to other planets still looms largely in the show, something the fans can expect to see in the upcoming episodes.

While there is an obvious possibility that the planets were destroyed by the pirates who wanted to extract the treasure from them, (and since At Attin is protected by The Barrier, it managed to survive) At Attin might also be responsible in this disappearance.

But as creator Jon Watts hinted in an interview with Screen Rant, At Attin might be responsible for the disappearance of other Jewel planets,

''There's definitely more to the planet than meets the eye, but we don't want to say too much.''

The creators hinted that At Attins is more than just a suburban planet and its secrets will be revealed in further episodes. This hints that maybe At Attin is the one responsible for wiping out the entire Jewels of the Old Republic and culminating all of their riches as its own.

Since At Attin keeps itself hidden and doesn't let its inhabitants communicate with other galaxies. it might be because of this fear. While these are all speculations, the truth about At Attin is bound to be revealed in further episodes.
