Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, Disney+'s nostalgic trip to the golden Star Wars day with a group of kids, is about to come to a conclusion next week with Episode 8. The finale is set to come out on January 14, 2025, by 9 pm ET/6 pm PT.
So far, Wim, Fern, Neel, and KB have traveled around space in their Onyx Cinder and had many adventures, and the penultimate episode saw them finally touching down on their home planet of At Attin and reuniting with their parents.
Their ending adventure also mirrors the audience, as the show will finally come to an end with the next episode. But not before one last attempt to save their planet.

Fans have welcomed the nostalgia of Star Wars mixed with children's adventure, and Episode 8 will finally see their adventure come to fruition. The show's penultimate episode saw the kids finally reaching their home planet of At Attin with the help of a special message from their parents.
While their reunion was emotional, danger also followed them as Jod managed to reach the planet with them and was now after the riches of At Attin. Star Wars: Skeleton Crew finale will unpack a lot from the penultimate episode as it will reveal the consequences the parents will face after breaking the law and communicating with the outside world.

What happened in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Season 1 Episode 7?
The penultimate episode of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew showed the kid's parents' desperate attempts to make communication with them. Since no form of communication is allowed outside At Attin, the buoy they sent up was destroyed by The Supervisor until Fern's mother finally gets the word out to the kids.
Elsewhere, Jod convinces Brutus that At Attin is real, but he threatens to airlock him if he is lying. But when he sends a ship into the Barrier, it gets destroyed, and Jod is sent into the airlock. However, he survives by getting help from SM-33, seeing the Onyx Cinder, and pulling it in through his lightsaber.
Jod realizes that only Cinder can pass through the Barrier, and all other pirate ships will be destroyed. He manages to kill Brutus and asks the droid to hold all the kids as hostages. But Wim becomes the unsung hero of the episode, and the pirates are thrown off the ship, but not before Jod sneaks back in.
The kids receive the message from their parents that they must get to the Republic Emissary to get back to their parents. Jod plans to masquerade as the Emissary to reach the planet's vault. Upon touchdown, they are all taken down to the vault and finally show all the riches inside it.
The episode ends with the kids reuniting with their parents, but Jod has taken out all the droids in the area, and now the parents and kids are under his command.
