Jod kills Brutus in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Season 1 Episode 7

Brutus and his crew finally reach the surface of At Attin, with Jod still locked in his chains. On seeing the gaseous atmosphere and the perpetual storm of the planet, Brutus threatens to airlock Jod for lying to him about At Attin. But Jod claims this is just a ruse to protect the planet from pirate ships.

To check this theory, Brutus sends a volunteer to the planet's surface, but it does not return, and in return, Brutus airlocks Jod, which he luckily survives because of SM-33 and locating the Onyx Cinder.

Jod realizes that Cinder and the children are the key to At Attin. Brutus uses his tractor beam to reel the Cinder and children in.

However, Jod takes the upper hand and uses the Force to free himself, kill Brutus, and take command of the Onyx Cinder, revealing that he will not stop till his pockets are lined with gold.

Trusting Jod turned out to be a mistake for the children. As Star Wars: Skeleton Crew's penultimate episode reveals, he is unstoppable and can even harm children.

After claiming control over Onyx Cinder and the children, he tries to navigate the ship to reach At Attin. Fern claims that Jod cannot be the captain of two ships, which the droid SM-33 agrees to and knocks Jod out.

With the droid by their side, the kids manage to escape, leaving all the pirates behind, and the ship goes into autopilot mode, revealing that they are about to land.

When it seems that the kids have finally defeated Jod and reached their planet, Jod shows up again, revealing that he managed to escape. As their ship touches down on At Attin, Jod threatens to kill their parents if the children do not comply.

Jod and the kids finally touch down at At Attin, and the droids mistake Jod for the Republic Emissary and do not question him. This turns in favor of the Captain as every Emissary must be taken to the mint below.

As the children are happily reunited with their parents after a long adventure, Jod learns that there are a total of 1139 vaults on the planet, lined with gold and credits.

As the episode ends with the children and their parents, Jod takes out all the droids in their neighborhood and basks in his glory by igniting his lightsaber, declaring death and destruction in the show's finale next week.
