In the previous episode of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, we see the crew ending up on an alien planet that looks like At Atin and struggles to survive. They reach At Atin's coordinate but find it destroyed. The new episode 5 came out on December 24, 2024, focuses on unraveling the mystery further leading them to At Atin a secretive planet in the galaxy.

The crew heads up to Skull Ridge Mountain, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Episode 5 recap
Episode 5 "You Have a Lot to Learn about Pirates" opens with Neel's mother looking for Wim and informing his father Wendle about the missing children.
Meanwhile, the kids here discovered that SM 33 is programmed to destroy anyone in search of At Atin coordinates. KB rerouted SM 33's memory chip to bypass the protocol that programs it to kill them.
SM 33 tells them about their former captain the most popular in the galaxy that interests Jod. They get to know about Rennod's secret lair beneath Skull Ridge Mountain.
The crew makes their way towards it while Wim wonders how he always wanted real adventure but now amidst this, he is only confused, scared, and missing his father.
The crew finds the co-ordinate to At Atin, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Episode 5 recap
The Skull Ridge Mountain is located on the planet Lanupa. Children were not permitted inside the location therefore the kids disguised as adults and relied on Jod for their translations.
Jod gets them as guests into the spa but they didn't have any reservations. Jod decided to use the Republic credit the kids got from their homes to bribe the receptionist.
Eventually, they all split in search of the spa in the upper and lower levels. The crew head towards Rennod's secret lair and the route was dangerous, filled with booby traps and deadly acid pools. Later they saw a room with an inscription “All who enter sacrifice must make the greatest sacrifice.”
The children assume the greatest sacrifice could be of life but as the episode's title suggests they were wrong. The greatest sacrifice of pirates is their treasure. But they already had used it all to bribe the receptionist.
Jod makes an attempt to use his force to get the credit back but fails. But suddenly some acid starts to ooze out of the pit and a door opens towards a room full of treasure.
The crew scans the room and Neel notices that on the table everything is rotten except one roast. Jod attempts to lift it up and it triggers the captain's log. SM-33 was able to access the dataport and they finally located the At Atin coordinates.
Fern faces a life-and-death situation with Jod and ends up sacrificing her captain title to him. But this is not the end. Jod succumbed to greed and ordered SM 33 to capture the kids. However, the kids managed to escape through a trapdoor.
