Seong Gi-hun returned in the second season of Squid Game despite winning the first one and it seemed that his ambitions were higher this time. He not only eyed the prize but also wanted to attack the masterminds who were running the deadly games.
As a result, the games did not conclude in the second season as Gi-hun’s rebel attack caused utter chaos in the dormitory. This attack also caused multiple deaths besides the ones already happening because of the games.
However, despite everything, several players made it alive. Here’s a list of the players who were alive by the end of Squid Game Season 2:

What happened in Squid Game Season 2?
A lot happened in the second season of Squid Game including fans witnessing more heart-wrenching deaths and betrayals. The Frontman killed Jung-bae, Gi-hun's childhood friend, which not only caused Gi-hun extreme emotional turmoil but also affected the rebellion.
Gi-hun’s plan of overthrowing the organizers succeeded briefly before the authorities took control and the rebels had to hide to save themselves. Player 246 surrendered once their ammo ran out but unfortunately, it was not accepted.
In the showdown, Gi-hun faced the Frontman who did not hesitate to tell him the possible consequences of his actions. Despite not being killed by the Frontman at that moment, his fate remains the cliffhanger that left the viewers eager for season 3.
