The Spring Baking Championship Season 11 finale was released on the Food Network on May 19, 2025. The episode features a creative take on what baking could be, and it ended with the crowning of one winner.
Priya Winsor has been working hard all season, and during the concluding episodes she managed to impress the judges even more with her twists. Winsor has won the Spring Baking Championship season 11 and was awarded the $25,000 cash prize.
The episode saw Jesse Palmer finally putting rest to the huge mystery that was left as a cliffhanger last episode. So who went home? It was Mary Frances.
The decision was not an easy one. The two were caught in a sudden death bakeoff challenge, meaning that the one who failed would have to go home immediately. They were required to create something that holds a certain story for them.
The judges acknowledged the journey of both the bakers since the start of the season and noted that Mary Frances had improved the flavor profile a lot. They said initially her desserts would have too many tart flavours; however, as the finale approached, she learnt to balance them all.
As for Raveena, she had her highs and lows and could never be boxed into one category. However, the judges felt that her story, combined with the dessert on the sudden death challenge, was sufficient to secure a victory over Mary Frances.
Spring Baking Championship Season 11 Finale recap - Mary Antoinette's hair
As the main heat challenge rolled around for the finale episode of Spring Baking Championship, Priya, Lisa, and Raveena were the only ones who remained. The trio worked through their individual journeys and exceeded the expectations of the judges. In the last round, only one of them was to remain.
Host Jesse Palmer revealed that their task was to make a cake based on the various hairstyles worn by Marie Antoinette. They even brought out a rendition that provided the instructions.
As Priya was the winner earlier, she was given an advantage. There were three hairstyles to be copied off of, and she was asked to assign these to the bakers. This was a design-focused dessert, but that did not mean that the contestants could slack off when it came to the taste of it all.
When Raveena's cake was finished and presented, the judges said that it looked good but the texture was crumbly, which should not be the case for someone in the finale.
As for Lisa, the visuals outdid themselves once again, but the balance of flavors was off. She was not able to incorporate the pistachio flavor well.
As for Priya, she wowed the judges with her chocolate exterior and a design so visually appealing that it made the judges wonder if it was even real. The only thing they found off was the ratio of filling to the cake, but all in all, the flavors were great and balanced.
This led to her winning the Spring Baking Championship and getting $25,000 in cash. Priya said that she will always cherish her journey through the challenge.
