Saturday Night Live Season 50 Episode 18: Check to Check Business News delivers the funniest news market trends

Saturday Night Live's latest episode featured Kenneth Albright and Tasia Walton hosting one of the sections, Check to Check Business News. Both mimicked the current market trends and how prices for many items have been hyped.

"Well, markets are in turmoil right now. Let's check on the S&P 500, which is down 2.38%. The NASDAQ Composite is down 265 points. And Dow Industrials are down 2.88%. Okay. Does that mean anything to anyone?" asked Kenneth.

Responding to him, Tasis mentioned it surely would mean "something" to someone, but for her, it was a bunch of "gibberish." She then discussed how some of the packaged food prices have gone up.

"Let's take a look at boxed Mac and Cheese, which is up 4.5% to $1.59. Also bix-a*s box of Bisquick is up from $2.39 to "too damn much." And candy bars are up from "Sure, baby" to "Put that back!"

Saturday Night Live's Kenneth noted that it was overall "pretty bad" news for the grocery sector. In the latter part of the Check to Check Business News section, they discussed the health care section, Trump tariffs, bond markets, Funko Pops, and more.
