What will likely happen in Special Ops: Lioness Season 2 Episode 4?

Viewers of Special Ops: Lioness Season 2 Episode 4, "Five Hundred Children," are in for a thrilling and suspenseful ride. One of the core topics discussed between Joe and Kyle will be reaching out to a potential intelligence source, which could help acquire relevant information relating to terrorist activities.

This would involve braving tough interpersonal dynamics and high-pressure negotiations, which suggests that operatives have difficulty earning trust in hostile settings. As the team works outside, they will encounter unexpected challenges that would further complicate their goals.

These could include unexpected encounters with the enemy, intelligence failure, or moral dilemmas forcing the operatives to make choices that may not always seem right. The tension and drama will be high as they enter an environment they don't know much about.

The episode will also deal with the dynamic of the Lioness team, which is changing due to the incorporation of new members and changes in roles. This will most likely challenge Joe's character emotionally as she balances professional responsibility with personal sacrifice.

Her backstory is also likely to be revealed during the episode, which might tell us more about what motivates her and the place her work takes in her relationships.

Special Ops: Lioness Season 2 Episode 3 recap

Special Ops: Lioness Season 2 Episode 3 is named "Along Came a Spider," where there is an internal conflict within the Lioness team on the mission against the Mexican drug cartel, Los Tigres.

Josephina Carrillo is one of the newest operatives, but her loyalty and intentions do not go without being tested. The episode starts by showing Joe (Zoe Saldaña) and Kaitlyn (Nicole Kidman) babysitting the team as they try to plant a tracking device in the home of the female target, who is connected with Los Tigres.

It is very hard for Joe to believe what Josephina says, saying that she knew nothing about her family ties to the cartel and everybody saying that she did not know how to speak Spanish. Kaitlyn advises Joe, saying that she should start treating Josephina like another agent she is trying to flip, letting her know that trust is a luxury they cannot afford.

In the case of Josephina, although she initially had no experience, she proved herself by excelling in the shooting drills. This demonstrated her potential, and there were already indications that she could complete the obstacle courses.

However, during a virtual reality training exercise, Josephina faces her most formidable challenge when she is tempted not to shoot the hostage-taker. This situation prompts Joe to criticize her focus on survival rather than rescue.

In this Special Ops: Lioness episode, Joe confronts Josephina about her family. Under pressure, Josephina confesses that she can speak Spanish and has lied about her family ties. This revelation raises alarms within the group. Consequently, Joe threatens that Josephina will not see daylight until authorities arrive to take her. This leads to a tense phone call she must make to her dad.
