Special Forces: World's Toughest Test Season 3 is scheduled on Fox at 8 PM Eastern Time on January 8, 2025. The series follows contestants who are put in very harsh environments.

They are here to train just like the actual training during the United States Special Forces selection course. The catch is that the whole thing is complicated and dangerous.

On the show, we see a shorter version of that course with trainers called the Directing Staff. They push the recruits through tough conditions that test their mental and physical strength. There are various challenges set in place that the recruits have to go through.

One factor that sets apart Special Forces: World's Toughest Test, is that there is no predefined elimination process during the rounds. Contestants are allowed to quit on their terms or can even be removed for medical reasons. Sometimes, they may get disqualified upon not finishing their final challenge.

A trailer for Special Forces: World's Toughest Test season 3 has been released by Fox. It opens with Cam Newton who says,

"In order to get something you never had, you have to do something you've never done."

We also see the group of recruits one by one while Ali Manno notes that some situations make her freeze. Carey Hart says that he "hopes this course" will allow him to be "the old Carey". Through the rest of the video, we see short clips of all the recruits taking on the challenges as directed by the recruiters.

The team is facing hardships in the form of physical and mental battles against their self. One fact that the trailer ensures is that the new season will bring forth the same action and drama we have seen in the previous ones.

In Special Forces: World's Toughest Test season 3, recruits are to travel to Wales. The location is marked by British Special Forces Selection. We will see them dealing with challenges on both, land and sea.

As we saw in the trailer, the ocean challenges will include situations with immense stress such as rescuing a hostage, crossing a risky ladder laid between two cliffs, and living through a boat capsize drill.

Each of these tasks is carefully curated to test their resilience and put them against their fears. There is no easy way, or a backdoor, to win these challenges.
