16-year-old Sydney Sterlace from Team Gwen Stefani performed two songs. The first was Gracie Abrams' I Love You, I'm Sorry. The judges appreciated Sydney's performance and shared their views. However, some The Voice fans expressed disappointment in Sydney's song choice.

The Voice's finale, part one, aired on December 9, 2024, on NBC, and fans from various regions witnessed it. The five participants featured on the show's finale were Sydney Sterlace, Danny Joseph, Jeremy Beloate, Sofronio Vasquez, and Shye.

For Syndey's finale part one performances, fans saw her performing:

  • Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars.

After witnessing the 16-year-old delivering the performances, Coach Gwen Stefani shared that Sydney was "fulfilling" her dream. She added that watching the finalist "grow before her eyes" was enjoyable.

For her Chasing Cars performance, Gwen mentioned that her voice was "angelic", while Coach Reba shared that many young people would look up to Sydney for her talent.

While Sydney received such compliments from the Coaches on The Voice Season 26 finale, some fans disagreed. Hence, they took to social media to react to the finalists' performances and song choices.
