Somebody Somewhere is an American comedy series starring Bridget Everett in the lead role. The show premiered on HBO on January 16, 2022. Owing to the success of its first season, it was renewed for a second season in February 2022, which was released in April 2023.

Creators Hannah Bos and Paul Thureen are the brains behind Somebody Somewhere, produced by Duplass Brothers Productions and The Mighty Mint banner. Bridget Everett serves as an executive producer of the series. In 2023, the series was renewed for a third and final season, which is set to premiere on October 27, 2024.

1) Bridget Everett as Sam

Bridget Everett stars as Sam, the lead character in Somebody Somewhere. Sam is a 40-year-old woman living in Manhattan, Kansas. However, her life turned upside down following the death of her sister.

The series follows her journey through a midlife crisis. Bridget Everett is also known for her roles in Sex and the City, Trainwreck, and Inside Amy Schumer.


2) Jeff Hiller as Joel

Jeff Hiller plays Joel, Sam’s friend and co-worker. Joel is a piano-playing, yoga-loving man. He brings warmth and humor to the show. Hiller’s past work includes roles in American Horror Story, Morning Glory, and Ghost Town.


3) Mary Catherine Garrison as Tricia Miller

Mary Catherine Garrison portrays Tricia Miller, Sam’s sister. She navigates her own struggles while supporting Sam. Garrison is known for her work in Veep, 30 Rock, Begin Again, and Let Them All Talk.


4) Danny McCarthy as Rick

Danny McCarthy plays Rick, Tricia’s husband. He finds himself entangled in a drug-dealing scandal. McCarthy is recognized for his role as Agent Danny Hale in Prison Break and has appeared in several other series.

Mike Hagerty played the role of Ed Miller, who is Sam's father. Ed is a farmer who primarily worries about his financial issues in the series. Hagerty appeared in the first season of Somebody Somewhere.

Sadly, the American actor passed away on May 5, 2022. He was also known for his role as Mr. Treeger in the popular sitcom Friends.


6) Murray Hill as Fred Rococo

Murray Hill plays Fred Rococo, a soil scientist and Kansas professor. Known for his work as a drag king entertainer, Hill has also appeared in Bored to Death, Welcome to Flatch, and Lost Cops.


7) Jane Drake Brody as Mary Jo "MJ" Miller
