Season 7 witnessed 5 couples advancing to the honeymoon phase and taking a vacation to Mexico. However, as the finale approached only two engaged couples tied the knot.

Marissa and Ramses bonded on their very first date. Although, Marissa was torn between him and Bohdan, she eventually, decided that Ramses was the one.
Unfortunately, the couple called off the wedding, and Ramses was the one with all the uncertainty and doubts. The finale episode witnessed Marissa's ugly breakdown which left fans calling out Netflix for making it so long.
Another dig taken by the Love Is Blind fans was on Marissa's mother, Vanessa, whom they slammed for her behaviour with Marissa, and also being unsupportive. One fan took to X and wrote:

Another fan commented that Marissa's mother was cruel and mean. The comment reads:

However, after the finale episode, some fans also applauded her for forestalling Ramses' true character when they first met in episode 9 but admitted that she did need to go and see a therapist for her behavior towards Marissa.
Love Is Blind star Marissa's mother felt Ramses had a superiority complex
After the Love Is Blind Season 7 finale aired, fans have been bitter about Ramses' decision to call off the wedding just a few hours before the wedding day. Marissa also opened up about her state as the breakup took place. Marissa's mother did not have a very pleasant meeting with Ramses, as she was doubtful about his career and other things.
During the finale, fans also witnessed Marissa calling he mother after the breakup and telling her that there was no wedding. The scene was shortly cut and therefore, there was not much insight about Vanessa's reaction. However, Marissa got in touch with Glamour Magazine on October 23 via an interview and mentioned that her mother saw through Ramses.
Marissa told the magazine, that her mother felt Ramses was not her type and had a superiority complex. She explained by stating:
"She felt that he was very different from who I’ve dated before and she felt like ultimately, he would never be able to keep up with my lifestyle because he didn’t have a degree. And she said that she felt like he had a superiority complex."
