The Tournament of Champions season 6 finale dropped on April 20, 2025, on TLC and crowned Antonia Lofaso as the winner. However, fans were not happy with the decision and think that the competition was rigged in her favor all this time.
Antonia has appeared on Tournament of Champions in all six seasons that have aired so far and has never once failed to let the fact be known during her confessionals whenever she is set up for a battle. Fans also expressed their annoyance at this behavior and called it "whining."
Antonia was set against Sara Bradley in the final battle. Despite it being Sara's first time on the show, she had delivered an impressive performance and made it to the top two, which is no small feat.
Viewers pointed out in one of the comments that Antonia might have "dissed" Sara and made her feel as if she does not deserve to win because of appearing on Tournament of Champions for the first time.
Voicing their opinions and taking them to X, a fan wrote,
"I've been watching this damn Tournament Of Champions on @FoodNetwork. I'm really pissed off. It's totally fixed. Antonia Lofasa is like the female Guy Fieri. Britt Rescigno is 10 better as a chef. I'm so pissed I'm shutting it off.
"I kinda feel like Antonia just dissed Sara a bit by saying she wasn't going to let her win because she was new to #TournamentOfChampions. Sara deserves to be there," said another.
Calling the show rigged, a fan expressed,
"This show is rigged that Antonia can quit her crying because she doesn't win every year."
"Good, now Antonia can retire and we don't have to hear her whine again," said another user.
Tournament of Champions season 6 finale - Antonia wins the crown
The Warrior Princess, as Guy Fieri on Tournament of Champions likes to call Antonia, has won season 6. She has expressed earlier in the episodes how this was her sixth time on the show and how she needs a win for herself. In the initial semi-final round, the chef was set up in a battle against Britt Rescigno.
The Randomizer decided their equipment, and it was a pompano for protein, figs as produce, and lava rocks as equipment. The chefs were asked to incorporate the color purple in their dish somehow.
This challenged the creativity of both the chefs taking part. At the end, the scores were tied for them both, and they got 82 points each. To decide the winner, the one with the most points in taste was asked to move forward, and without a doubt, it was Antonia.
After the second semi-final battle was conducted, during which Sara Bradley went against Wong, she was then pitted against Antonia Lofaso. They were given wagyu beef for protein, huitlachoche for produce, and a sausage stuffer as equipment.
The style of the food was supposed to be hot and cold. The hot part must be spicy, and the cold one sticky. Ultimately, Antonia won this finale battle round and was thus crowned the winner of Tournament of Champions season 6.
