The final task on the sixth episode, It Smells Like the Dessert, was set in Dubai. In the end, the two teams Jeff-Pops and Nick-Mike competed closely with each other. They were the last two teams who had yet to finish the task.
As they completed the previous task, Jeff and Pops reached the metro station while Nick and Mark were still running behind. Things went wrong for Jeff and Pops after they missed their train. While they were still figuring out which train they needed to board, their train left the station.
Later, fellow The Amazing Race Season 37 team Nick and Mike joined them, and the two teams boarded the same train. After they arrived at their station, Nick and Mike won the foot race to the endpoint. On the other end, Jeff and Pops were the last team to finish the task, and got eliminated.
