Sister Wives Season 19 airs a new episode every Sunday on TLC. The series follows a long streak of relationships between the members of the Brown family, with his patriarch, Kody Brown, and his wives, along with 18 children. As far as season 19 is concerned, the audiences have been accustomed to Kody being separated from his other three wives Meri, Christine, and Janelle.

The recent episode of Sister Wives witnessed some new happenings, marking Christine's "fairytale" wedding to David, Meri looking for a new start in the form of a life partner, and Robyn's daughter exploring non-Mormon churches, which did not sit well with Kody. Kody has been in the limelight for having a weathered relationship with his other kids and three wives.

Earlier, Meri and Christine pointed out that Robyn acted as a blockade between Kody and his other children as he became too engrossed in his life with Roby and their daughter. Recently, fans of Sister Wives deliberated their view on Robyn playing a "gatekeeper" between Kody and his other children. One fan, with user ID Tiny-Conflict2107, commented:

"I think what he meant was Robyn is the gatekeeper to him having relationships with his other non-Robyn children. I'm sure this is why Janelle doubles down repeatedly about her kids having to apologize to Robyn. He is such a douchebag."

Another fan, LilPoobles, quoted Kody Brown's statement, which reads, “I think Robyn’s the most comfortable person for any of my children to speak with," and wrote:

"He’s not saying that all of his biological children are more comfortable speaking to Robyn than to him. He’s saying he only considers Robyn’s children to be his. And those children are afraid to speak with him about any serious personal issue like pursuing romantic partners or religious belief."

Midllingahiever commented:

"Kody needs so much external validation. That was his joy in parenting—not watching the kids grow into amazing, independent adults and sharing their lives. He enjoyed being the center of adoration for 18 small kids. Now that the attention isn’t flowing his way, he’s not interested. Out of sight, out of mind."

Another fan, Master-Dimension-452 wrote:

"Robyn presents herself as the expert in everything and is not inviting or welcoming to the OG13 (ask before taking food!). Robyn insisted on her traditions taking over and Friday night family dinners stopped when she came into the family."

"I would never want to do polygamy again"- Sister Wives' Kody Brown resents multiple marriages as he is a monogamist now

Kody Brown, who was once married to four wives and lived a polygamist life along with 18 children, now lives in a monogamous marriage with Robyn Brown. His other three wives have been separated spiritually and legally from him. As far as his opinion on polygamy is concerned, he is no more up for the idea anymore. In the recent episode of Sister Wives, which was released on December 1, Kody said:

"I would never want to do polygamy again. The realization I've had since I talked to my brothers was that polygamy kills emotional intimacy. It makes everybody defensive, and I want an emotionally vulnerable, intimate relationship with a woman, and you're not going to get that in polygamy."

Sister Wives's Kody also believes that his children would not end up in polygamist marriages either. He is a father to 18 children but doesn't share a fond relationship with them. His bond with his children has seen ups and mostly downs. Most of the children are in a monogamous relationship.

Kody and Robyn's daughters Aurora and Breanna recently expressed during one of the episodes that they want to "find a church guy". However, Kody said:

"I don't think any of my kids are going to live a plural marriage. I could possibly see it if one of my daughters wanted to marry a married man. I don't think the experience they've had with our family would make them want to do that."

Sister Wives Season 19 airs at 10 pm EST on Sundays on TLC.
