Christine Brown is opening up like never before about her past relationship with Kody Brown on Sister Wives. Now happily married to David Woolley, Christine is sharing how different life feels with a partner who supports her fully.

“I feel stronger, more independent now than I ever did before because you’re so supportive. There’s no 50/50,”

Christine, 53, said in the Sunday, April 20 episode of Sister Wives. David, who married Christine in October 2023, agreed, saying couples should “never, ever keep score in a marriage” because both partners should give “100 percent.”

When Christine compared her marriage to David to her former plural marriage with Kody, she admitted there was a lot of scorekeeping back then.

“I felt like Robyn [Brown] had a better couch. I felt like she had better dishes and better decorations,”

Christine shared.

Christine Brown details emotional struggles on

Sister Wives

In the latest episode of Sister Wives, Christine got real about the insecurities she battled while being spiritually married to Kody. Christine, who split from Kody in 2021, revealed she often felt like she was receiving "scraps" compared to Kody's other wives.

“Why am I left with all these scraps all the time? Scraps of time, scraps of stuff,”

she said.

Meanwhile, Kody offered a different view in his confessional.

“When a relationship is united, you don’t tend to keep scores much because you’ve got a cloak of charity to put over this person that you love,”

he said.

Robyn Brown, Kody's fourth wife, also chimed in. She questioned why Christine felt the need to keep score among the wives.

“If you’re sitting there constantly using that scoreboard against each other, what are you enemies?”

Robyn asked.

The emotional divide that Christine described adds another layer to the ongoing story of Sister Wives.

Christine didn't hold back when discussing how Kody's preferences impacted her self-esteem. She said Kody’s obsession with appearances made her feel even more insecure.

“No wonder I was constantly wondering and constantly insecure because as much as I was comparing, he was also comparing all the time,”

Christine explained.

Meanwhile, Meri Brown, Kody's first wife, said she was aware that Kody “always wanted people around him to look good,” but claimed she never felt direct pressure herself.

Christine went deeper into her feelings, explaining that Robyn was often “up on this pedestal and the rest of us were just lacking.”

“I felt like I was lacking in the relationship,”

she said, summing up years of emotional strain within the Sister Wives dynamic.

Kody and Robyn react to family division on Sister Wives

Kody offered some insight into the overall dynamic among his wives on Sister Wives. He said that with his first three wives, the relationship often felt like survival.

“We would hunker down and get along enough to survive,”

he shared.

“It didn’t ever feel like I was not in the doghouse with somebody.”

Robyn also reflected on the tensions, saying,

“I felt like when the family was together, there was unfair fighting that was happening, for sure.”

She claimed there was “name-calling” and “jumping to conclusions,” which led to “so little trust with each other.”
