Netflix dropped the first four episodes of Single's Inferno this week, on Jan 14, 2025, and the show began with an interesting and intriguing mix of personalities and unexpected relationships. The popular South Korean reality dating show sends singles to a secluded island called "Inferno," where they must build relationships to escape the survival-like conditions and earn a lavish stay in "Paradise." With a unique approach that conceals ages and jobs until Paradise, the show focuses on genuine interactions and natural emotions.

The drama deepens in Episode 2 as contestants form new relationships and navigate unpredictable charms. While some couples appear to strengthen their chemistry, others experience emotional challenges as attraction shifts and rivalries arise silently. The episode goes deeper into the complexity of human relationships, laying the groundwork for additional surprises and increased competition. As the singles continue to face the hardships of Inferno, the episode leaves viewers wanting to see how these blossoming connections develop.

Let's take a look at what happened in episode 2 of Single's Inferno.

What happened in Single's Inferno Season 4 Episode 2?

After Yuk Jun-Seo & Jeoung-Su and Jeoung-Su & Lee Si-An had coupled and become the first couples to move to Paradise, other singles tried their luck at love again.

Kim A-rin visits the men's inferno

Episode 2 of Single's Inferno begins with Kim A-Rin entering the men's inferno. The boys see her coming while having their dinner. They soon welcome her and start cooking dinner for the lady.

Back in the ladies' inferno, as the remaining female cast talks about A-rin going to the other side, they reveal the challenge they faced during the day that resulted in her visit. The clip reveals the game, "The Men-Inferno Bound Chicken Fight," where the ladies had to make their opponents move out of the rope circle without touching them while balancing their bodies on one leg. A-rin defeated all the ladies and won the game.

As the Single's Inferno girls wonder what their fellow cast members might be doing, A-rin is seen getting to know each guy individually.

The couples part ways too soon, while new couples form

As the first two couples of Single's Inferno try to bond and get to know each other better, Single's Inferno's producers throw a twist at them. It reveals that the couples will have to part ways, and the ladies are taken to the men's inferno, where A-rin is sitting with the three single boys.

Later, as the ladies sit together to catch up, the voiceover announces another coupling in the house. The singles then go on dates with each other to pick their partners. While many picked different partners, only Si-an and Jang Theo ended up in Paradise.

The two guys return to the women's inferno

After parting with their partners, Single's Inferno's Yuk Jun-seo and Yeoung-Su return to the women's inferno to meet the three women. After catching up as a group, the ladies sit together to talk about the guys. This is when all agree that Jun-seo isn't as scary as he looks.

Later, the singles try to meet and talk to each other individually to see who they bond the best with. The episode wraps up with the individuals revealing their picks. However, it was left on a cliffhanger as Jun-seo's pick is yet to be revealed.
