It is a popular South Korean reality dating series that blends romance, competition, and emotional drama. What happened in Single's Inferno Season 4 Episode 1?
The first episode of Single's Inferno begins with fans' favorite MC panel, including Hong Jin Kyung, Dex, Hanhae, Kyuhyun, and Lee Da Hee, discussing how season 4 will be the hottest night in Paradise and how it will be more honest and advanced. Soon after, six beautiful, single ladies enter the island and introduce themselves.
As the episode continues, the intercom goes on as the first male member appears before the women.
"We will now match the couples who will go on a date in Paradise." The speaker continues, "The first-place male cast member, you may now choose the woman you'd like to go to Paradise with."
This shocked everybody, as nobody knew what it meant by 'first-place cast member."
Yuk Jun-seo wins the first date
A flashback hit the screen before the Single's Inferno panel, revealing the rules of the Inferno. This is where the intercom reveals how no man is allowed to talk about their job and age during their time on the island.
Next, the voiceover reveals that the men will have to accept a challenge without meeting the women to earn the first date. The boys had to get into an intense water sport to be the winner.
Yuk Jun-seo won and ended up in a women's inferno to pick his date. He takes Jung You-jin's hand to Single's Inferno's Paradise.
Jeoung-Su picks Lee Si-An
Next in line, who ended up as the runner-up in the challenge, is Jeoung-Su, entering the women's inferno. From the remaining five ladies, he decides to pick Single's Inferno's Lee Si-An. As the two walk hand in hand, Si-An confesses before the camera,
"I kept smiling. Because his looks were exactly the kind that I like, and I wanted him to pick me. "Let's go together!" That was the signal I was sending. So when he actually chose me, I was excited."
The voiceover reveals this to be the end of coupling matching for the day.
First day in paradise
The two couples hop onto a helicopter and move to Paradise to enjoy their first meals together in their apartments. This is when each individual reveals personal details about themselves, such as their age and jobs, and the men reveal why they pick the ladies as their partners.
