Beast Games episode 7 brought forth one of the most mentally challenging tasks ever. It had made the trolley problem come true and the players were at a tough spot while making their final decisions. The challenges were supposed to be a moral dilemma and cause controversies among them all.

However, Beast Games fans claim that the challenges failed to do exactly that. According to them, the choices given were too easy and did not create confusion at all.

Fans also said that it was "obvious" how the players would choose during the game. They liked the "concept" of it but said that the show missed an opportunity to make these challenges "as interesting" as possible.

Taking to Reddit, one fan by the username r/dvstr wrote,

"In theory i liked the episode, the concept was cool. However I really don't think they properly represented the trolley problem or made it as interesting as it could have been."

Beast Games fans criticize the challenges

Two challenges especially struck out to fans who claimed that these were "no-brainers" on Beast Games episode 7. The first one was Akira and the Lamborghini. Akira was elected the captain by the players. Jimmy then asked him to select his three least favorite players.

They were put on the track as opposed to a Lamborghini. Even the players said that this was an "easy choice" and proving them right, Akira saved the Lamborghini and eliminated the three players.

Beast Games fans think that this could have been made a tougher choice. A Reddit user named r/Ok-Literature-5198 wrote,

"I think Lambo or best friend would have made more sense. Least favourite and 2 randoms and then the least favourite can pick 3 others on the other track (who would potentially then be safe)."

Another Reddit user name r/bleeblaabloo1, sarcastically said,

"I found it funny how they made it seem like eliminating 3 people who you didn’t like and getting a Lamborghini, vs not eliminating 3 people and not getting the Lamborghini was a hard decision lmao."

Replying to their comment, user r/Mr_Bourbon wrote,

"Someone’s going home, so will it be three people you don’t like, or potentially you? Btw you get a Lamborghini if you eliminate the people you want to be eliminated. Lol."

Another challenge on Beast Games episode 7 that fans were disappointed about was with Bethany. In that challenge, we saw Bethany was elected to be the captain. In the previous round, Akira had eliminated her friends, and thus, dying for revenge, she wanted to eliminate him.

Bethany chose Akira and Colton, the two best friends, to be on the track. Jimmy then revealed two twists that will follow. The first one will have Bethany's best friend on the opposing track. The second twist is that a mystery person will also be eliminated along with Akira and Colton. This person will be revealed after the challenge is completed.

In the end, Bethany decided to eliminate Akira and Colton and save her best friend. But ultimately, the mystery person turned out to her sending her out of the game as well.

Fans were not happy with the way things unfolded and thought a better way would have been to reveal the mystery person before the challenge.

Continuing their opinion, user r/dvstr wrote,

"For example the one with the 'mystery' contestant - maybe it was spelled out to her better in the show and the edit didn't show this, but it honestly would have been so much better if it wasn't a mystery at all and it straight up had her visible. "Eliminate your best friend, or eliminate yourself and two people you hate".

They added,

Thats a genuinely tough choice and would have made it more interesting, as opposed to "Eliminate your best friend, or two people you hate and also another random person". Every single other 'choice' was a complete and utter no-brainer."

Beast Games releases new episodes every Thursday on Amazon Prime Video.
