Hulu has just released the trailer for the sports comedy Shoresy Season 4, which is all set to return on February 26, 2025. Created and led by Jared Keeso, the story follows Shoresy (Jared Keeso) as he leads the struggling Blueberry Bulldogs hockey team in Sudbury, Ontario. After the high voltage Season 3, which saw the Bulldogs reach the top of the Canadian senior hockey team, Season 4 is ready to explore life outside the ice rink.
Shoresy Season 4 trailer teased a major change in the life of Shoresy. Shoresy, having decided to retire from hockey, now faces the challenges of adjusting to life without it. The trailer features Shoresy trying fun activities, partying, and trying to navigate life beyond the ice rink. He is also seen struggling to find a role suitable for him, such as a coach and a hockey analyst.
Viewers can expect a fresh season, which will also explore how the Bulldogs cope with an offseason without their star player. With no Shoresy to guide them, it could be a season that's filled with new struggles and uncertainty.
The Hulu series has been renewed for Season 5, stating that the story for this season will unravel further plotlines that will be explored in the upcoming seasons. The synopsis of Shoresy Season 4 reads,
"Shoresy explores life after hockey, and the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs contend with distractions of the summer in Sudbury."
A breakdown of the Shoresy Season 4 trailer
The 40-second Hulu teaser trailer opens up with Shoresy's voice stating,
"I am having trouble finding something fulfilling since I can't play hockey anymore."
In Season 3, Shoresy decided to stop playing hockey after he suffered a major ankle injury. Shoresy Season 4 is all set to feature his life post-break from the game. The trailer features Shoresy trying out new activities, including partying in the car, trying out water activities, hanging out in the club, and even finally taking Laura Mohr on a date. In between these, he is also seen balancing two new roles as a TV hockey analyst and a coach.
Shoresy is also seen giving a fun interview for the Sudbury Kids Sports Report with Jory Jordan. When the interviewer (Jory Jordan) asks him a question,
"You have always been dumb and ugly at your age you won't be long until you are dumb ugly and fat. Care to comment."
Shoresy keeps a straight face while adjusting the microphone cover as an answer to the question.
Meanwhile, the summer of uncertainty looms over the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, who would find it hard to maintain the top position of the senior hockey team. Produced by New Metric Media in partnership with Play Fun Games, the series is all set to release on February 26 on Hulu. Hulu subscription starts from around $9.99/month.
