Grant Ellis and Juliana Pasquarosa got engaged on The Bachelor season 29, and fans are happy about it. Even though the viewers were disappointed for Litia, they supported Juliana till the end and claimed she is a perfect match for Grant.
As she stepped onto the proposal podium in the finale, Juliana wore a pink/orange dress that was bejeweled and hugged her body.
Addressing her feelings in the final speech to Grant, Juliana conveyed how much she loves him, and he reciprocated the feelings.
Getting down on one knee and opening a Neil Lane emerald cut diamond ring box, Grant popped the question. He told Juliana how she is "someone who has inspired" him and has been his "best friend" throughout the whole journey. He asked,
"I'll be there for you as your man, as your friend, as your partner. Juliana, will you marry me?"
To this, she replied positively, and the two got engaged. This decision came after Grant had been confused all week about whom to pick at the end. He had a strong connection with Litia, but there were little things that threw him off about the relationship that he also discussed with his dad earlier in the episode.
As for Juliana, everything made perfect sense, and even The Bachelor viewers agree about their chemistry. Talking about the same, a fan wrote on Twitter,
"I'm sad for Litia but acting like Juliana isn't going to be a great wife is WILD. She is stable and fun and didn't rush into saying I love you. Laughing and fun is home. Grant will be so happy with her."
"As much as I loved Litia, Juliana is the right person for Grant," expressed another fan.
"and lets not diminish who juliana is as a person just because he didnt pick litia like juliana is just as amazing and beautiful," wrote a fan on Twitter.
Taking the compatibility test between Grant and Juliana to a humorous note, the Bachelor fan commented,
"The thing that makes Grant and Juliana so compatible is that his eyebrows are about 15% too short and hers are about 15% too long. Together they perfectly balance each other out, achieving synchronicity."
The Bachelor Season 29 - Grant and Juliana's journey
Grant and Juliana's time on The Bachelor has been nothing but magical. Previously, we had seen them spend the most beautiful date together, which gave Bridgerton, and it all ended with fireworks and a kiss.
The two also shared about their backgrounds. Grant's father has dealt with addiction all his life, which has impacted his upbringing. Juliana opened up and revealed that one of her family members also had a similar case, and thus, she understood what he was going through.
However, the biggest roadblock to their bond was that they had not expressed their "love" for each other up until the very last moment. This wasn't the case with Litia because Grant had told her multiple times that he loved her, and she had said it back.
During The Bachelor season finale, when Juliana met with Grant's family, Renee, his mom, was worried about them not talking about love yet. However, Juliana handled it gracefully and said she doesn't want to say those words until she was sure of her position in Grant's life as the last one standing on The Bachelor.
However, Renee had none of it and asked Grant to walk away from Juliana if she didn't love him. The issue got resolved at the end of this segment, where Grant expressed his love, and Juliana reciprocated it.
The Bachelor season 29 has concluded. The episodes are available to watch online via Hulu.
