Shark Tank has become quite the platform for entrepreneurs to pitch innovative ideas and products. One such fantastic product was Flated, which, as the founders describe it, is an “easily portable, durable, and quickly storable” range of products for truck storage solutions.
Initially, Flated was featured on Shark Tank's Season 14 Episode 16 and pitched its idea to the sharks. Founders Ken Hoeve, Ryan Guay, and Monique Keefer presented their unique products, including an Air Carrier, an Air Topper, and an Air Deck.

Shark Tank's Season 14 Episode 16 featured Flated, presented by Ken Hoeve, Ryan Guay, and Monique Keefer. For the unique outdoors solution, the Flated team showcased their unique range of “inflatable” products. They were Air Carrier, Air Topper, and Air Deck, which, as the brand describes as,
"The great outdoors offers endless possibilities for enjoyment—whether riding the open road into the sunset or savoring a coastal breeze with the windows down. But great adventures require road-worthy equipment. Comfort and convenience are essential to avoid the hassle and expense that can keep you from hitting the road."
Seeing the potential, Shark Daymond John invested in Flated and offered them $350,000 in exchange for 5% equity and 8% royalty for each product they sold. After he recovered his investment, the royalty would drop to 5%.
The founders, Ken Hoeve, Ryan Guay, and Monique Keefer, agreed to the deal and established a partnership with the experienced Shark.
Later, by 2023, since John invested in Flated, the brand established its “touch to trust” marketing event. It was part of its strategy, through which it interacts with customers and learns more about the products while overlooking the markets.
The company launched many other products after learning about customers' day-to-day handling of various Flated products. Since then, they have been available on various distribution networks to broaden their customer base.
The Air Topper for a standard-sized pickup bed costs around $1,899, whereas the Air Carieer, a roof locker, costs around $629. Flated’s additional products include an inflatable truck bed mattress and an Air Deck, which costs around $549.
The brand has been quite popular since Flated was introduced via Shark Tank. With one Shark, Daymond’s investment, they have risen to success. Their signature products include Air Topper, Air Carrier, and Air Deck. Since then, the company has also launched inflatable picnic tables and chairs in 2023, among other amazing products.
Focusing more on outdoor activities and associated potential items, Flated has been covering a lot of ground, especially for travel enthusiasts. Having such convenient products while outing is quite the boon for the users, and that is why Flated’s financial growth has been remarkable ever since.
Before Shark Tank, Flated made sales of around $277,000, which, by 2024, turned into $750,000 monthly revenue. As of now, Flated is looking forward to an approximate annual revenue of $9 million.
