Shark Tank season 16 episode 9 was released on ABC on January 24, 2025, and saw Jamie Kern Lima join as an investor on the panel. There were four business pitches in the episode which were, an heirloom trunk, a quilt kit, a swimsuit, and outdoor socks.
Throughout the episode, guest investor Jamie shared bits of her personal life and at one point, even revealed that she is adopted. It was when Petite Keep had pitched their product and it reminded Jamie of her birth mom and the mom that raised her.
Taking to her Instagram, Jamie shared multiple posts about being on Shark Tank and what the experience was like for her. In one clip, she was seen even wiping off a tear and said that the show took her on an emotional rollercoaster. Jamie is the founder of IT Cosmetics which was later sold to L'Oréal in 2016 for $1.2 billion.

The first pitch of the episode was from Lindsay Mullinger, the founder of Petite Keep. The company makes heirloom quality trunks that can be customized as per personal tastes. She was seeking 5% equity for $400,000 in her company. When asked about her projected sales, Lindsay says that they are expecting $10 million.
Jamie was quite moved by the product as it reminded her of her family. She claimed that she would buy the same for herself and thus, was interested in making an offer.
By the end of the negotiations, Lindsay had made a deal with Jamie, Barbara Corcoran, and Mark Cuban for $400,000 at 15% equity divided equally among the trio.
The second pitch was made by Legit Kits' owner Mike O'Dell. His product made it easy for the consumer to quilt and sew, however, a sewing machine is a prerequisite for the same.
The business had steady sales in the market and Mike pitched for $150,000 for 5% equity. Kevin O'Leary made an offer with a $10 per unit royalty at the same amount asked by Mike. Mike took the offer and had a deal with Kevin.

Shark Tank season 16 episode 9's third pitch was by Onewith. The company, owned by Hayley makes seamless swimsuits. She had asked for $200,000 for 5% equity.
Discussing the same, she revealed they had garnered a total sales of $2.3 million since 2021. After confirming the numbers and the success rate of the business, both Jamie and Barbara were interested. They made an offer of $200,000 for 20% equity.
However, they did not want the product to ever enter the retail business and remain direct to customers. Hayley was happy with the deal and accepted it as it aligned with her business goals.
The last pitch of the episode was by a company named Tough Cutie, owned by Brittany Coleman, which makes performance socks for women. She asked for $100,000 for 10% equity. Brittany emphasized how important it is for women to wear socks, during outdoor activities, that are customized to their feet.
Barbara was impressed and made an offer of $100,000 for 25% equity. Brittany accepted the offer and the two had a deal.
