Shark Tank Season 16 Episode 11 premiered on February 7, 2025, on ABC. The episode featured four pitches from different entrepreneurs in various market segments. These were flaminGo, Joyebells, Lectec, and Bumpeez.
Robert Herjavec returned to the episode and ended up making a deal with Lectec and Bumpeez. As for Mark Cuban, he made no deal in this episode. Barbara had a moment with flaminGO founder Smith Alan Baggett while Kevin and royalty offers found no deals.
The four pitches on Shark Tank were met with enthusiasm from the Sharks; however, Bumpeez, in the end, stood out for "offending" both Barbara and Robert. They felt as if their offers were not being valued by the entrepreneurs. Despite it all, the two made it work and entered a joint venture.
Shark Tank Season 16 Episode 11 recap - flaminGO catches Barbara's eyes while Lectec makes a deal with Robert
The first pitch of this Shark Tank episode was by flaminGO, founded by Smith Alan Baggett. He is from West Georgia and was seeking $100,000 for a 20% stake. His company sells pre-charged rechargeable chargers that have the option of connecting to three devices.
Robert expressed that he loved Smith's accent, while Barbara claimed that he looked like her first boyfriend, who was also a cowboy just like him. This sparked an interest between the two, and she ended up making a deal for $100,000 at 22% equity.
The second company to pitch its product on this Shark Tank episode was Lectec. They have an entire electrical skateboard kit that needs to be built by the kids. Owned by Jared Ebersole and Luke St. Amand, the two were seeking $100,000 for 10% equity in their business.
Explaining the idea for his product, Jared said that it all started when he was 15 years old and had his heart set on an electric skateboard. However, the high cost of $1,600 discouraged him from buying it. But he made it work by creating an electric skateboard, which blew up among his peers and turned itself into a business.
The revenue of over a million dollars from that company even helped him pay his way through college. Soon, he launched Lectec, which is a DIY kit to build electric skateboards and is meant to be an educational experience for children.
Robert was impressed by the valuation and the product and made a deal for $100,000 for 17.5% in equity.
Shark Tank Season 16 Episode 11 recap - Joyebells walks away with no deals while Bumpeez lands two sharks
The third pitch on this Shark Tank episode was by Joyebells founder Joye B. Moore, seeking $600,000 for 10%. She sells packaged pies in retail stores across the country. Upon tasting the product, sharks were impressed, and Kevin noted that it was "10 by 10."
However, the financials for the business model were not working out for them. Robert noted that Joye needs to either lower her production cost or increase her selling price. In the end, none of the sharks made an offer, and Joye walked out empty-handed.
The last pitch of the Shark Tank episode was made by Michael Bergida and Israel Schaya for Bumpeez. They sought $100,000 for 10%. Their product is a fun bumping car for kids that comes with a patented inflatable technology. They presented the dinosaur version of the same.
During negotiations, Israel did not pay attention to the offers made by Barbara and Robert but instead, was trying to get Lori and Mark on the deal as well. This offended both of them, who decided to opt out.
However, Israel won them back by offering a royalty deal on top of the valuation. He claimed they are looking for a "strategic partnership" with the sharks instead of a financial one.
Shark Tank season 16 episodes drop out weekly on ABC at 8:00 pm Eastern Time on Fridays. Later, they can be streamed via Hulu.
