Shark Tank is premiering mid-season and here is a way to watch it for free without access to cable TV. The brand new episode released on January 17, 2025, on ABC TV at 8 PM Eastern Time.

It featured various new pitches and the sharks returned to the panel. The show has now become a cornerstone of American pop culture and is a dramatic take on the world of venture capitalism.

Shark Tank'sseason 16 has been on a halt since December and continued the season in January. This time, Daniel Lubetzky joined the tank as an investor. As for the businesses, four new ones made their pitches. They were, Bro Gli, TripleLite, Hiccup, and PhoLicious.

The series is based on a British reality TV drama called Dragon's Den. Throughout the episode, we witness entrepreneurs present their products to the sharks and ask them for funding.

After the pitch is done and the sharks evaluate the product, the two sides negotiate a deal. The regular sharks on the show are Mark Cuban, Kevin O'Leary, Lori Greiner, and Robert Herjavec.

They all are from different fields and businesses bringing their expanded networks and connections in the industry to aid the entrepreneurs who come to seek their help.

The first pitch to happen on Shark Tank season 16 episode 8 was by Bro Glo. This is a company founded by Jaron, Tom, and Joe who make "self-tanner for the boys." They asked for $200,000 for 5% interest. Ultimately, by the end of negotiations, the trio accepted Mark's offer of $200,000 for a 10% stake.

The second pitch was by TripleLite owned by Ronnie and Nancy Pritchett. They asked for $400,000 for 10% equity. Their product illuminated the space in a way that helps to see the front and side at the same time. By the end, they accepted a unified offer from Mark and Lori for $400,000 at a 25% stake.

The third pitch was by Hiccup owner Kristina. Her product is a reusable cup that is friendly to the environment. It is meant for marathon runners and will help in reducing single-use cup waste. She wanted $200,000 for 10% of the company. However, not even one shark invested in the company.

The last pitch was by PhoLicious owned by Joseph and Anh. They asked for $500,000 for 10% of the company. Their product is an instant Pho soup, a traditional Vietnamese dish. In the end, it was Kevin O'Leary who bagged the deal with $500,000 for a 15% stake in the company.

Shark Tank season 16 from episode 8 can be watched on cable through ABC TV when the episodes air weekly on Fridays at 8 PM Eastern Time. However, there are options to live stream them for free as well.

Fubo TV: Fubo TV offers a free trial that can be used by viewers to stream the episodes for free, legally in the United States. However, once the trial is up, the platform becomes paid.

DirecTV Stream: This second option fares well for users whose Fubo TV free trial has ended. They can continue watching Shark Tank for free with a DirecTV Stream free trial. However, after the trial has ended, the platform will cost about $101.98.

Sling TV: Sling TV is another option that comes with a live stream feature and a free trial which will help fans watch Shark Tank for absolutely free. Even its paid version is reasonably priced at $45.99 per month and offers a wide variety of channels to stream from.
