Shark Tank investor Kevin O'Leary, in his recent reel on Instagram, shared his opinions about capitalism and the American dream. His reasoning is against the idea that the wealthy ones should be "punished for their success."

Talking on CNN about names such as Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk, Kevin said that what they have right now, is the American dream which every person on the planet is fighting for.

He navigated the conversation by saying that instead of having a punishing mindset, we should be celebrating their success. They have created jobs for millions of people and even pay hefty taxes in America so what is the harm in them being rich?

Talking about the most recent American elections, Kevin also pointed out that Kamala Harris's main argument was about punishing capitalism because Donald Trump is a businessman. But that did not go well for her.

The Instagram video shared by Shark Tank investor Kevin O'Leary starts with him appreciating Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk.

He pointed out their share in building the economy of America by paying taxes and then also creating a source of income for millions of people through their companies. Expressing his thoughts, Kevin said,

"You know we celebrate in America the American dream, it's our number one export. Zuck was a college student once. Look what he's created. How many jobs, how much taxes has he paid? Elon Musk may be the most successful entrepreneur in history. Another aspect of the American dream is just showing you what can happen. We should be celebrating this."

Taking the conversation to the political issues during the most recent American Presidential elections, Shark Tank's Kevin talked about Biden and Harris. He said,

"And by the way that message that Biden put out there that was Harris's probably number one message during the election. How'd that work for her? Not so well."

He was then questioned by another member of the set. She asked,

"You think that was her number one message?"

To this, Kevin replied by saying,

"I think so. Remember she said we have Trump coming and all the bad things about the concentration of wealth. Americans, appreciate the ability to pursue the American dream every day and we do not push down on success, ever.

He continued,

So, yes Musk is rich. So what? Everybody else comes to this country almost drowning in rivers or getting cut under barbed wires to get in here to pursue their dream. Why do we ever think that we should bash their success."

The commentator then replied again by putting her point across. She said,

"It is not about how rich they are. I'm saying that actually, what got them there? Mark Zuckerberg, Sam Altman, Jeff Bezoz. They all got to where they are because they came up with good ideas. They built big, good businesses."

Captioning the post, Shark Tank's Kevin summarized his whole idea. He wrote,

"We celebrate the American dream in this country. It's our number one export. Zuck was a college student once. Look what he's created. Elon Musk, maybe the most successful entrepreneur in history, another aspect of the American dream. This just shows you what can happen. We should be celebrating this."

He continued,

"That message that Biden put out there, that was probably Harris's number one message during the election. How'd that work for her? Not so well."

Even Shark Tank fans supported Kevin's view in the comments. They wrote about how everyone wants to be wealthy themselves but hates the rich. The user wrote,

"It is mind-blowing how people attack the wealthy and at the same time wish they were wealthy."
Those guys deserve it ! They had a dream - they made it real. They pay more taxes I'm 1 year then we all do in our life time. They deserve every penny they have !

Shark Tank can be streamed on ABC TV online.
