Shark Tank investor Kevin O'Leary recently shared a reel on his Instagram where he is dressed up as a chef. He is making an appetizer for some guests who will be arriving at his house for New Year's and then explains their plans to hit the town later.

Kevin is standing by his kitchen platform where he has laid out a few items and says that this is a trick that he has learned in Eastern European countries. The first item on the list is his O'Leary fine wine chardonnay. The second item laid out is caviar 100 milligrams. The third item is a black truffle. Continuing his dish, Kevin says,

"Let me show you something someone's ever thought of and I've learnt this years ago."

Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary shares his special New Year's appetizer recipe

Kevin starts by taking a truffle slicer and asks the fans to adjust the blades so that when they slice the truffle, a perfect chip comes out of it. Warning everyone, he also adds to not slice their fingers off and be careful when it comes to this stuff. He also asks the viewers to wash their fans first. Giving instructions, Kevin says,

"It is often advised to have a damp cloth in between you and the truffle. And then you're just gonna shave it."

This advice makes sense because slicing accidents could harm the skin on your fingers leading to accidents.

Shark Tank's Kevin then continues to shave the truffle and chips fall out. He then takes one and coats it all with a little bit of creme fresh on it. Lastly, he adds a dollop of caviar "right on the truffle chip." Gloating with his appetizer in hand, Kevin asks the viewers,

"Are you ready? I'm not kidding. Can you imagine the different flavors, the truffle, the creme fresh, and the crunch of that gorgeous caviar?"

He then proceeds to take a bite of his creation and is visibly ecstatic and screams in joy. Viewers could see him having a small little happy dance upon tasting the delicacy. Then he sips his wine and continues to say,

"The guests are gonna go crazy with that. No one's ever tried that before it's a secret that I'm showing you."

Shark Tank Kevin O'Leary's Second Chef trick

Adding to the New Year bonus, Shark Tank's Kevin shares yet another party trick for the viewers. He says it is the "caviar bump" and he has learned this in Russia. Kevin puts a dollop of caviar on his wrist and talking about Russians, says,

"Those guys are not popular anymore but they know how to eat caviar."

He then squeezes a few lemon drops on top of the caviar on his wrist and licks it off his hand. Enjoying the taste, Kevin then breaks out into yet another happy dance and takes a sip of his chardonnay.

Kevin, the millionaire investor on Shark Tank, then proceeds to mix and match the ingredients present in front of him. He takes another piece of the truffle chip and adds caviar on top of it.

He then squeezes a lemon and asks fans not to add creme fresh in this combination because lemon doesn't go well with it. We see yet another happy dance and a sip of the O'Leary chardonnay.

Ending the video, Kevin says,

"Okay, everybody. Happy New Year to you and yours. And remember for 2025, what are we talking about... Remember our theme for 2025. THINK. BIG. Take care, my friends."

Shark Tank fans reacted positively to his reel and also wished him a happy new year. They said,

"Awesome Kevin🤣🤣🤪 Happy New Year!! You’re an inspiration! Always tell the truth and be honest!"
"You inspire me to think BIG! I love it🩷"
"I was salivating as you enjoyed the exquisite treats! Happy New Year!!🍾✨🎆"
