During the last episode of the show, Selling the City star Jade Chan made comments about suing Netflix. She was angry and adamant over it after she argued with Abigail from Eleanora's team.

She and Abigail were arguing about how Jade took Taylor to one of her listings without telling Eleanora. Jade had asked Abi not to tell this to her boss and Abi finally confronted her about it. Getting furious, Jade claimed,

"I'm not doing this. If any of this f*cking ars, I'll sue every single one of your ass*s. Because I am done. Like this is f*cking bullshit"

Selling the City Star Jade Chan - Is she suing Netflix?

Given the fact that the scene had aired on Netflix already, fans are curious to know if Jade will be taking any legal action against the streaming platform. Talking about the same with US Weekly, Jade said,

“No, I am not taking legal action. I [actually want to] thank the producers for their beautiful way of still telling that story and still showcasing the spiciness that was there in that heated moment.”

Appreciating the creators, Jade continued by saying,

“They were very respectful in knowing what was right and wrong in regards to [what to include]. Because there was much more to that scene than just the one minute that is shown. So I appreciate and respect them for that matter."

Explaining the situation further, Jade added,

“That’s really where those comments from me were coming from. Because there were below-the-belt things said from both sides — from Abigail [Godfrey] and myself — that I would never want to be shown across the entire world.”

Selling the City - Jade and Abigail feud explained

Jade and Abigail have not been on great terms since Selling the City's first episode of the show. The former had been passing sly remarks and judgements towards Abigail which created an air of tension between them.

However, when Jade asked Taylor to come to one of her listings, Abigail said that Jade had told her to not tell Eleanora. Confronting in Selling the City last episode, Abigail stated,

"All I know is you looked me in the eye and you said, I am hanging out with Taylor, I'm putting my trust in you not to tell Eleanora this. I don't want her up my *ss. Did you say that or not? Say yes or no, Jade. Yes or no!"

This is what prompted Jade to talk about the whole legal action statement and a fight erupted. Fans were taking Abigail's side saying that she is a "real one." One user commented.

"Guilty people run away."
"I was laughing so hard with Jades empty threats to sue 🤣 Yep, good luck with that lol."
ABI IS A QUEEN FOR THIS.

Fans were appreciative of how Abi stood up for Eleanora because as women in business, and Eleanora had pointed it out previously in Selling the City episode 4, everyone is trying to tear you down.

Another user wrote about Jade,

"jade is the jealous friend your mom warns you about . and then to run and threaten to sue ??? LMFAOOO plsss."
"I LOVED THIS FOR ABIGAIL 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Finally someone spoke up because it’s crazy that from the first 10 minutes of the show you tore down a so called bestfriend of 10 years. Friends like you Jade who needs enemies 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣"
"ABI put the pieces to the puzzle and brought it to the people 👏👏"

Selling the City Finale - Abigail's Point of View

After this confrontation on Selling the City, Abi was pretty upset and was crying. Talking about the whole feud, she told the cameras,

“Jade runs [from a conversation]. I want to look her in the eyes and I want to know what type of person she is. You guys are my family and anybody who f—s with our family, you’re going to get the f—ing wrath. I don’t want to disrupt a decade-long friend, OK?”

Selling the City is streaming on Netflix right now and can be watched with a subscription.
