In a recent interview with ScreentRant, the cast members of School Spirits talked about how the second season might be ending. All of them thought that this finale was probably going to be even more shocking than the season 1 finale, which was quite explosive in itself.

Kiara Pichardo said,

Maybe we shouldn't put the expectation so high and then let them watch. It's okay. [Laughs] We want you guys to watch it on the edge of your seat. No, it's crazy.

Kristian Ventura added,

To guess the ending—it's a lottery ticket. I mean, if you actually get it…

Pichardo responded that the chances of the viewers correctly guessing the twist are quite low and almost impossible. Ventura agreed with her and said for the finale fans can expect the worst thing that might happen and even then they would find that something worse than that has happened.

Spencer MacPherson joined them, saying,

There are also so many moments throughout the season with these massive revelations. It feels like every other episode is jaw-dropping.

Agreeing with him, Pichardo added,

I feel like fans are going to be like, "Wait, what?" It's going to be something like that. There are so many things happening.

How did School Spirits Season 1 end?

School Spirits Season 1 ended in a shocking twist that revealed Maddie to be alive and being possessed by Janet Hamilton’s (Jess Gabor) spirit. Janet’s death at Split River High seemed to be connected to Mr. Martin, the resident ghost therapist of School Spirits.

As Janet and Mr. Martin seemed to be somehow connected, School Spirits Season 2 will be exploring the same, as List also mentioned, saying,

“And Mr. Martin and Janet, they're very intimate, so it's everyone wants to know [why]. It's a big clue that leads to everything else.”
