The skit starts off with Chloe Fineman, a regular on SNL known for her celebrity impressions, impersonating Jennifer Coolidge as she applies lip color in a spoof commercial.

The commercial spin-off takes a funny turn when she looks in the mirror and, instead of seeing herself, she sees her impression, and it is none other than the pop sensation—Ariana Grande! Grande is impersonating Coolidge as well; she appears on the other side of the “mirror,” mirroring Fineman’s movements.

Grande, who has impressed audiences with her celebrity impressions in the past, flawlessly does the same for Coolidge’s signature vocal quirks and exaggerated expressions.

The comedic chemistry between Fineman and Grande is evident as the two take turns nailing Coolidge’s voice, exchanging lines with playful energy and trying to keep their composure despite moments where they almost break character.

Both are wearing identical clothes: a salmon-pink robe with a furry cover-up, faux feathers, and the classic blonde 90s blowout hairstyle!

The duo’s impersonations reach their peak in a particularly funny moment when they both start spraying glass cleaner at each other to remove a “smudge” on the mirror.

Just when the scene seems to hit its comedic stride, Dana Carvey surprises the audience by appearing as a third Jennifer Coolidge. Carvey, as we know, is known for his impersonations, and this time he does not disappoint!

He is seen in a pin silk gown as a faux fun robe as well with the classic blonde hair wig. His opening lines sparks a ray of laughter:

"Thank God you opened the mirror, I’ve been trapped in here for years."

His addition takes the already absurd scenario to a whole new level as the three "Coolidges" hilariously interact with each other, creating a comedic spectacle.

Jennifer Coolidge's Previous SNL Appearances

Coolidge, who is well-known for her distinctive voice and comedic timing, has been impersonated on the show before, and her real-life appearances have left a lasting impression. In earlier seasons, Coolidge made brief appearances as a guest and was always a fan favorite for her over-the-top characters.

The recent sketch is a testament to Coolidge’s lasting influence in the comedy world, with the impersonations paying homage to her unique persona that has captivated audiences for decades. Although Coolidge wasn't physically on stage, her spirit was undoubtedly alive in the hilarious and loving tribute from Grande, Fineman, and Carvey.
