"Sad to watch" - Love Island: All Stars fans react to Ekin Su crying

Love Island: All Stars season 2 episode 17 was released on ITV2 on January 29, 2025. During the episode, Ekin Su and Curtis were seen having trouble in their relationship. During the hideaway, Curtis was seen smiling and talking to Danielle when the latter pulled him to a private spot.

Talking about her relationship with Ekin Su, Curtis says that he is 28 years of age now and that he has to be picky now with his relationship. He is not okay with the arguments that happen all the time between them.

Soon, Ekin Su walks in with her drink in one hand as she tries to approach Curtis but the other islanders pull her away claiming that he and Danielle are chatting.

Curtis and Danielle notice her and she mentions that Ekin Su has been sweet towards her. Ronnie goes after Ekin Su and hugs her before she breaks down in tears meanwhile Curtis and Danielle continue to chat.

Love Island fans voiced their opinions about Curtis and Ekin Su crying. They supported her sand mentioned how he was doing the same thing that he had done to Amy once. An Instagram user (@____lillyxx) said,

"Ekin may be dramatic but she’s also been so hurt in the past, it’s actually sad to watch. People don’t show her empathy just because it’s her but she just wants to be loved."

Love Island: All Stars fans react to Ekin Su crying over Curtis and Danielle chatting

Ekin Su rushed off to the side in tears before Ronnie could come and comfort her. Mid tears, she said that "it hurts" to see them smiling and chatting. Love Island viewers also came to her rescue and validated her feelings towards her partner on the show.

They said that Curtis was deliberately trying to use Ekin's reaction so it could allow him to talk to Danielle. Another Instagram user (@alisonjaramillo1) said,

"Curtis is using Ekin's reaction as an excuse to talk to Danielle and avoid looking like the bad guy 🤣…. Always the ones you least expect it from. Scary."

Some other Love Island fans also questioned Curtis' behavior on Love Island and claimed that he is the type of person from whom you will never expect a betrayal because he is hiding behind a facade of 'nice guy.' A user (@rocco_the_pomeranian) wrote on Instagram,

"Curtis is the type of ‘nice guy’ that hurts women because you don’t see the betrayal coming."

"I feel like people are just hating on Ekin simply because it’s Ekin, if it was anyone else you’d feel sorry for them," wrote @lilyrosew9.

"Curtis is the perfect example of why I don’t trust what a man says," said @madelineglinski.

Fans also noticed how Ronnie was the first person who noticed that Ekin Su was nearly in tears and rushed off to comfort her. They acknowledged his sweet gesture. A user (@jessicalunn13) wrote,

"Omg.. why is Ronnie turning out to be so sweet. He’s like my favourite this time… 😂😍

"I love how caring Ronnie is towards Ekin - yes he has faults but seeing that there with ekin comforting her is just too cute not to take note - well done Ronnie" said @beckykarlstrom.
