The filming locations of Running Point include the following two cities:

1) Los Angeles, California

The premise of the show revolves around the Los Angeles Waves, a fictional NBA team; hence, the series was predominantly shot in LA. Several important sequences were filmed on location at various spots in the city.

The scenes depicting practice sessions of the team were shot at the UCLA Health Training Center, an indoor arena that hosts the South Bay Lakers of the NBA G League in reality. The center has various facilities for training, which were utilized to provide authenticity to the players’ practice scenes in Running Point.

Another key location in the city that is featured in the show is the Crypto.com Arena, a multipurpose indoor arena situated in downtown LA. The arena serves as the stadium where the Los Angeles Waves play their home matches. In the real world, the arena hosted matches of the Los Angeles Clippers for 25 years.

Some sequences were filmed at the Los Angeles Athletic Club, a health club that also includes a business center and a bar. The shots involving the team’s offices were particularly filmed here.
