Rock the Block Season 6 Episode 2: Who won the second week's challenge?

The second Rock the Block Season 6 episode featured Mina Starsiak-Hawk and Jasmine Roth as guest judges. While they will be inspecting the renovated houses, they won't know whose house they are in.

For the second week, Chelsea and Cole won the Rock the Block Season 6 Episode 2 challenge. The husband-wife duo chose a bold wallpaper, which they weren't sure the judges would like. The judges saw cowboy hats on the wall as they arrived at their "cowboy contemporary" home.

After trying the hat, Jasmine and the rest of the panel moved further and saw frosted doors. They loved the doors as they led to the guest room. However, they didn't prefer having such a short bathroom door. They all liked how the couple added a shower in the powder bath.

What happened on Rock the Block Season 6 Episode 2?

Viewers saw the first episode, which featured kitchens, living rooms, and a dining room renovation. Two designers were assigned to work on the first floor of each home. After Michael Smith Boyd and Alison Victoria won an extra $3000 from the previous episode, it was for their green kitchen victory.

Cole and Chelsea DeBoer wanted to keep cowboy hats in a display so that whoever enters faces the display. For the mudroom, they chose dark cabinets. They also added a shower for the powder bath, which they planned to use as the guest room. The budget for that was $40,000. It was the highest budget among the designers.

Later in the episode, Cole and Chelsea met Kamohai and Tristyn Kalama. They discussed their experiences working on renovations over the years. While choosing the wallpapers, some of the teams chose unusual color combinations. On the contrary, the Knight brothers chose neutral tones after receiving criticism from the judges last week.

Cole and Chelsea chose green for Alison and Michael's kitchen while using the tiles for the bathroom. Additionally, there was a swan-shaped faucet that the Knight brothers chose, while Cole and Chelsea chose a wallpaper with stags on it.

When the judges, including guest judges Mina Starsiak-Hawk and Jasmine Roth, arrived, Jasmine and Mina went to Cole and Chelsea's home. It was a "cowboy contemporary" home, featuring cowboy hats on the wall. Jasmine tried one of those before moving ahead.

The judges appreciated the frosted doors while criticising the shorter door for the bathroom. However, having a shower in the powder bath was a plus point.

After inspecting the rest of the houses, Mina and Jasmine could not agree on which designers to choose as the winners. After sharing their views on each of the renovated houses, Chelsea and Cole were announced as the winners. They won $3000 for the next challenge and $1500 for the Kalamas for the next task.
