After a long wait, Adult Swim has finally unveiled the first glimpse of Rick and Morty Season 8. Unfortunately, there is no official release date for the next season but is expected to premiere by mid-2025.

Co-created by Dan Harmon is back with the beloved animated sci-fi sitcom with Season 8. The show is known for its dark humor, existential themes, and satirical and interdimensional adventures.

After Justin Roiland exited the show as Rick and Morty's voice actor, Harry Belden and Ian Cardoni will reprise their roles as Morty and Rick's new voice actors, respectively. They were bought in Season 7, and some fans were disappointed with this major change in the show.

Season 7 saw Rick grappling with the aftermath of defeating his long-time nemesis, Rick Prime, and Morty, finding a way with his new freedom. Wrapping up the Prime storyline means that the show is in for a fresh start, and fans can expect to see the characters working their way and finding their footing as a family, ready to take on new adventures.

The new teaser, 'Important House Business, ' shows Rick interviewing a series of weird-looking aliens to replace Jerry, Morty's clueless father.

After Rick found closure in Season 7 with his long-time nemesis, Rick Prime, the show seems to be toning down on the existential tone of the previous season. The new teaser suggests the show is back with its lighthearted roots, exploring the complicated relationships and Sanchez's dysfunctional family dynamics.

After the heavy themes of Rick and Morty Season 7, which also explored Morty's fears about losing his alcoholic grandfather, the show suggests that Rick is not going anywhere, leaving the family alone in space.

While many fans complained that the show lacked fun and humor in Season 7, makers seem to have given it its original feel after the Rick Prime storyline. Nothing wrong with going back to your roots!

While there is no official release date for the show as of now, it is expected to be released in mid-2025.

While many outlandish reactions remain to Justin Roiland leaving the show as Rick and Morty's voice actor, people are starting to accept Harry Belden and Ian Cardoni as Morty and Rick's new voice actors, respectively.

While fans are excited about the new teaser, it received some mixed reactions from users on X-

''I havent seen the new season with the voice change, But in this clip, they sound SO OFF from the original voice. I don't like it'' @pacho3x
