Channel 9 aired episode 20 of Married at First Sight: Australia on February 26, 2025, and it has left the fans buzzing. The episode begins with Paul and Carina waking up in different rooms after Paul's outburst the previous night.

The feud kicked off when Carina unintentionally played a song by one of his former boyfriends, also a rapper. The next morning, when the two decided to talk things out, Paul blamed Carina for upsetting him so much that he put a giant hole in the wall.

However, later in the episode, he realized this mistake and when the entire cast gathered for the dinner party; hence, he took accountability for his actions. He opened up about the feud and apologized to his partner before everyone. However, many Married at First Sight: Australia cast members and viewers raised questions about whether his apology was genuine or if it was just a play to appear good.

Fans flooded the social media with their opinion. Many called out Paul for his outburst and even questioned his relationship with Carina.

One posted,

"Punching a wall? I’m sorry that would be a deal breaker for me. That behaviour can only escalate and Paul can’t control his temper. Red flag 🚩 #MAFS #MAFSAU #MAFSAustralia #MAFSAUS"

Another post from a fan read,

"why is paul setting up this story like it's carina's fault??? i hate this #mafsau"

A netizen shared,

"Eish!!! Watching Paul trying to justify his behaviour (punching the wall) and playing the blame game 😡These men who get “hella emotional” (cough cough Adrian) who then can’t control themselves are a worry. And they say women are the emotional ones 🤨 #MAFSAU"

A fan referred to Paul as an "abuser."

He wrote,

"Paul only told the group so he could control the narrative& garner sympathy. A classic abuser #MAFSAU"
"I don’t like how Paul said “carina said things that made me embarrassed and angry” and followed it up with “carina made me feel trapped.” Cause all he’s done is accepted responsibility for his actions that according to him, “someone else” made him do #MAFS #MAFSAU," another tweet from a fan read.
