Real Housewives of London is going to be the next big news of the franchise as the producers have announced its release sometime in late 2025. During the Hayu Fanfest London, held on October 26, 2024, Andy Cohen, the executive producer of the show was present on one of the panels, and the announcement came after his panel was done presenting.

This would be Hayu's first original project which will air exclusively on the platform. Hayu is a streaming platform, a subscription video-on-demand service of NBCUniversal, where a variety of reality TV series are available to stream. The "Real Housewives" franchise is officially aired by Bravo, and Hayu will be in charge of premiering Real Housewives of London.

The filming of the series will start at the beginning of 2025, and fans can expect to stream it in late 2025 on Hayu exclusively. As far as the cast lineup is concerned, the producers are looking for glamourous housewives, and the search is ongoing. Dean McCarthy was one of the hosts of Hayu Fanfest London and posted about the announcement via an Instagram post and congratulated the Hayu team for their hard work.


Real Housewives of London debut season: All we know so far

NBCUniversal's video-on-demand service, Hayu is all set to premiere the debut season of Real Housewives of London, the British touch to the famous reality TV series that revolves around the housewives belonging to a particular city or location. The show started in 2006 and was originally produced by NBCUniversal. The show has come up with various installments so far, and now will be entering into the British territory in 2025.

Earlier, the producers came up with Real Housewives of Chesire in 2015, and has been the longest-running spin-off with 17 seasons so far. Real Housewives of London would be the second installment based in the UK.

Hendrik McDermott, the managing director at Hayu mentioned after the show's announcement during Fanfest that they are thrilled to serve such a dedicated fanbase with yet another installment of the franchise.

He said:

"Tonight’s announcement of ‘The Real Housewives of London’ is Hayu’s first-ever commission of an original series and yet another key milestone in the growth story of our all-reality streaming service.

He further added:

"It makes sense that such an iconic location in the U.K. – a core Hayu market – would feature in our strategy to further amplify our offering with original content that super-serves loyal fans. We look forward to being the exclusive home of this latest installment in the wildly popular ‘The Real Housewives’ franchise.”

Helen Kruger Bratt, the managing director of Monkey, the production house for Real Housewives of London, also added that Hayu is the ultimate destination for the upcoming British version and fans would not be disappointed with the drama, glamour, and all the thrill that British version would bring.

There are many other international installments of the franchise that had a good run. The first one of them was Real Housewives of Athens which aired in 2011 and released only one season. The other installments include Vancouver, Melbourne, Budapest, Amsterdam, Johannesburg, Rome, Lagos, Munich, Cheshire and more.


Real Housewives of London will premiere exclusively on Hayu in 2025.
