The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 16 episode 8 saw the ladies take a trip to Nashville however, it did not take long for things to turn upside down. The group was celebrating Porsha's birthday.
It was revealed at the dinner on their first night that Drew might be linked with Dennis physically. However, Angela was trying to bounce Drew's name out of everyone's mouth, but was unsuccessful at that.
The next day, Drew arrived for the party even though she did not want to. It was because Angela had encouraged her to clear the air with Porsha and get back on good terms.
Even in her confessional on Real Housewives of Atlanta, Drew tried to convince the viewers that she and Porsha are good friends, but well, this was a tricky situation they are in.
As for Porsha, who is getting ready for the day, she is seen talking to Shamea. Turns out it was Angela who played her cards and made Porsha invite Drew to her birthday trip, even though she did not want to.
Angela is doing all of this so that nobody turns the heat on her. However, Porsha seems to have understood what is going on and is trying to check Angela in.
When she comes down to meet with the ladies, Porsha and Drew, despite their differences over Dennis, hug and are cordial with each other.

Later that day on Real Housewives of Atlanta, the girls go on to take some bartending classes, which are mixed with confrontations and whiskey. Things get real when Shamea reveals her past and an abusive marriage.
As soon as they reach their location, Porsha is paired with Shamea and Kelli while Cynthia, Angela, Drew, and Brit are together for another activity. Talking about her feelings, Porsha feels that Drew might feel unwelcome because of the tension between them.
She also questions Angela's intentions of inviting her because on one hand, she says she is Drew's friend and will stand up for her no matter what, but on the other, she has invited her to a trip where things might get messy, especially when it is Porsha's birthday.
Porsha, now getting to the bottom of it all, says that Angela had set up Drew so that the entire group could cast their shade at her.
On the other side, where the four ladies are whiskey tasting, Brit clocks in Angela for her sneaky behavior. As Angela tries to play innocent, Brit says that she is just trying to become a victim while playing a huge game. As the ladies get into an argument, Cybthis stands up for Brit.
Later that night on Real Housewives of Atlanta, after being MIA for a while, Porsha shows up for dinner. She finds out that Dennis will be shooting some scenes with Drew, specifically what she had told him not to do.
At the table, Drew tries to talk to Porsha, but she is cold towards her. Saving herself from being the target, Drew excuses herself and leaves the trip.
Porsha, in her confessional, talks about how Drew is getting all the heat, but she does not owe her anything. It is Dennis who has a responsibility.
