Reacher star promises his new sci-fi project will be "The biggest movie Netflix has ever had"

Reacher star Alan Ritchson has shared some exciting deets about his upcoming sci-fi movie, War Machine. In an interview with WIRED, when asked about his forthcoming films, he revealed that his upcoming Netflix movie would be one of the greatest. He said,

"War Machine for Netflix. I think you heard it here first. Gonna be the biggest movie that Netflix has ever had. This movie is gonna be a monster. This is the coolest thing they've ever made, guaranteed."

Netflix's upcoming film War Machine is an action sci-fi movie written by James Beaufort and Patrick Hughes. Previously in 2022, Patrick Hughes had launched a new company, Huge Film, with writer James Beufort and director Greg McLean. The upcoming film War Machine is one of its debut projects. As per the IMDb storyline of the movie reads,

"Follow the final recruits of a grueling special ops boot camp who encounter a deadly force from beyond this world"

Directed by Patrick Hughes, apart from Reacher's protagonist Alan Ritchson, the cast features Dennis Quaid (The Substance), Jai Courtney (The Suicide Squad), Esai Morales (Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning) and Daniel Webster (Billy the Kid). The movie will also feature Keiyan Lonsdale, Stephen James, Jack Patten, and Christopher Kirby.

In War Machine, Reacher star Alan Ritchson plays the lead Ranger candidate of the special ops boot camp. Meanwhile Dennis Quad and Esai Morales might play the commanding officers. Viewers might get to see Quad as the antagonist of the upcoming movie, similar to the role he played in Coralie Fargeat's The Substance. Apart from that, Stephen James, Jai Courtney, and Keiyan Lonsdale might play the newbies aspirants aiming for higher roles in the boot camp. Filming of War Machine took place in Melbourne, Australia and New Zealand.

"Action movie with no dialogue, that is an absolute work of art, a 70's period piece, it was on the blacklist for 15 years and every dude in the town is attached. A very hard movie to get made, but we finally got it made. I am proud of that one"

Apart from that, Alan Ritchson will also be a part of the action movie Runner, directed by Scott Waugh, the action film Painter written by Derek Kolstand (John Wick), Man with A Bag, a family Christmas movie directed by Adam Shankman.
