Reacher Season 3 finally hit the screens on February 20, 2025, with three new episodes. This season follows the book Persuader and the new character of Zachary Beck has been introduced.
Right from the beginning the third season of Reacher has made it obvious that there is something else going on with Zachary Beck’s rug business. Reacher is certain that it cannot be just rugs that they are dealing with and it has to be associated with something illegal.
However, Reacher also gave clues about how it is probably not drugs that Beck is associated with. It is more likely that his business deals with guns under the pretext of selling rugs. Let us now explore in detail why it would make sense for Beck to be associated with a gun business.

Zachary Beck might be connected to gun business in Reacher Season 3
While season 3 sees Reacher trying his best to find the connection between Quinn and Beck, fans who have read Lee Child’s book, might already know how these two are associated.
If this season remains faithful to the book like it mostly does, then it makes sense for Beck to be associated with gun business. As per Persuader, Quinn is a hugely successful arms dealer. Moreover, the book also mentions that Quinn had gotten Beck to work for him by threatening his family and their safety.
Another point that proves drugs theory wrong is how despite Reacher searching one of the rugs’ trucks of Beck, could not find any trace of any drugs. He took the help of a police canine for the process but the dog did not sniff anything suspicious.
With the drugs theory feeling wrong and the fact that Quinn is into arms, it would make complete sense if going forward Reacher makes the reveal of Beck somehow using his rug business to export and import guns.
More about Reacher Season 3
The third season of Reacher has made a couple of deviations from the book and one is not introducing the character of Beck’s wife. While she was an important character in the book and was also shown to be tortured by this season’s giant villain Pauline, the show establishes her as dead.
While Pauline does not get to torture her in this season, one of the highlights of Reacher Season 3 is the fight that takes place between him and Reacher. So far in the show, it has always been Reacher who had a physical advantage against any of his enemies. However, with the introduction of Pauline, that dynamic has changed because he is not only taller than Reacher but also seems to be better built and stronger.
Besides their fight, another exciting part of Reacher Season 3 is Reacher going undercover and infiltrating a criming ring with hopes of information that would help him get his hands on the criminals he is looking for.
With new episodes dropping every Thursday, it now remains to be seen how long it takes Reacher to figure out what Beck is really up to with Quinn and what his next moves will be.
Reacher can be streamed on Amazon Prime.
