Amazon Prime Video's Reacher will return with its third season in February 2025. The show, which is based on Lee Child's Jack Reacher book series, debuted on February 4, 2022. It adapted Child's debut novel, Killing Floor.
Season 2 adapted Child's Bad Luck and Trouble and debuted on December 15, 2023. The show will finally return with season 3 after a wait of almost a year.
The show follows the titular character Jack, who is a former U.S. Army military police major with extensive combat experience and training. He travels through various US cities and carries out undercover missions of all sorts.
While the show is filled with suspense and thrill, it also explores the titular character's journey and how he evolves with each mission, as shown in Child's books. After entering civilian life, Jack uses his military experience to bring down many villains as and when the opportunity presents itself.
The show pulled a huge audience with season 1 for Prime Video, after which it was renewed for seasons 2 and 3. Season 3 will continue this saga for the titular character, who will take up new challenges and dangers and will return triumphant in the end.

Reacher Season 3 will be released on Amazon Prime Video on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Mimicking seasons 1 and 2, season 3 will also have a total of eight episodes. Which Child's book will be adapted for Reacher Season 3?
Since the Reacher Season 3 announcement, fans have wondered which of Child's books will be adapted next from the Jack Reacher book series. Richson finally revealed that season 3 would adapt Child's seventh book, Persuader.
In Persuader, Jack is tasked with a dual mission: one, to infiltrate the group of a major drug kingpin as an undercover agent, and secondly, to rescue an undercover agent who is already stationed as a part of that group and is about to have his cover blown.
While it is not confirmed whether season 3 will follow Child's book faithfully, it is confirmed that there will be some changes as Maria Sten's Frances Neagley will return for season 3, who was not a character in Persuader.
