What to expect from Reacher Season 3 Episode 6?

The upcoming episode is titled Smoke on the Water and is expected to showcase the meeting between Jack with McCabe. Jack already suspects that McCabe might be Quinn, and hence, we might get to see an epic showdown between the two as they get face-to-face after all these years.

Meanwhile, Paulie is expected to cause further trouble, setting up the highly-awaited face-off between him and Jack. At the same time, Duffy is worried about Jack’s meeting with Quinn, so it will be interesting to see how she reacts to the outcome of the meeting.

What happened in Reacher Season 3 Episode 5?

Reacher season 3 episode 5, Smackdown, picked up right after the previous episode’s cliffhanger ending. Duffy and Villanueva were close to being caught when McCabe’s men tracked Angel Doll’s laptop to their location.

Luckily, Reacher and Eliot warned them in time and helped them escape. But in the rush, Duffy dropped her badge without realizing it. Thankfully, Reacher found it before anyone else did. Meanwhile, Eliot was left to guard the bodyguard they had captured.

After being locked up for days, the bodyguard tricked Eliot into letting him smoke. He then spit hydrogen peroxide at Eliot, blinding him, and later killing him. With the bodyguard on the loose, Reacher and Duffy had to stop him before he reached Beck or McCabe.

Since he had no phone, he headed to Beck’s house. Reacher and Villanueva set up a fake car crash to trap him. The plan worked, and the bodyguard was taken out before he could warn anyone.

McCabe grew suspicious and ordered a full search of Beck’s house. During the search, they found Annette, a maid who was secretly working for the ATF. She was killed right away and Reacher was forced to get rid of her body while realizing Beck and McCabe were smuggling guns, not drugs.

The episode ended with McCabe calling Reacher and Beck to a warehouse. Reacher thought McCabe might actually be Xavier Quinn, but he was not sure. Tensions are now higher than ever, which only makes the wait for the next episode more difficult.
