Reacher Season 3 Episode 6 has leveled up the show's game. This episode intensified the show in ways the audience didn't expect.
It's not just Beck who is in trouble for hiring the French maid who turned out to be an ATF agent. Reacher and Quinn are on thin ice too. Both in their own ways.
Richard, once again, becomes the target because of his dad's involvement with Quinn. He also discovers Reacher's truth and so has to keep that secret too. To sum it all up, a lot happened in Episode 6, and honestly, we were not ready for any of it.
Well, we sort of expected Reacher to be in trouble because no hero is a hero without facing risky situations. And his cover would have been blown someday. It's just that we didn't expect it to be this soon.
Another thing we were not expecting is that Quinn himself is in a risky situation. He is under pressure from the Russians. Let's explore it in depth.
Reacher Season 3 Episode 6: Quinn is on thin ice

Episode 6 begins with Reacher meeting Quinn for the first time in the season. He is ready to pull out his gun in case Quinn recognizes him. Quinn, on the other hand, appears to have suffered from amnesia, and he has no memory of his previous encounter with Reacher.
Quinn is absolutely furious with Beck, but he also says:
"Only smart thing you've done in weeks is hire this guy. He was the one that took out Angel Doll and got my laptop back from the feds."
He is referring to Reacher, but this connection will not last long.
After a while, the Russian mobster, Mr. Taktarov, along with his men, arrives. Quinn apologizes and tells him that due to delayed sales, he failed to pay the principal this time. But he will pay it off soon. Mr. Taktarov isn't too happy about it. He says something in Russian, which Quinn translates for us:
"Give a man a fingernail, he'll take the forearm."
Quinn tells him not to worry, as he will get the money, and there won't be any more delays in the future. The mobster replies:
"Mr. McCabe, I am not the one who needs to worry."
Saying this, the Russian mobster drives away.
The bigger fish stay hidden

Most people probably assumed that Quinn was the man in charge. But this episode makes us realize he’s just another pawn in a much bigger game. The Russian mobs have him under their thumb. And no matter how much power he pretends to have, he's still answering to someone.
He acts like he runs the show. But deep down, he knows he's just another disposable piece on the board. One wrong move and he’s done for.
The real power players are actually sitting back and pulling the strings from the shadows. They are the ones who never get their hands dirty, never make themselves a target.
So if Reacher steps in, he won’t just be going after Quinn. He might get to the bigger fish and expose the actual truth.
